No one has picked up on the biggest clue of all. I said that I play it. Start looking at my character rather than my clues.

I'm only saying pipe organ because its the only dark, moody instrument I can think of... Anymore thoughts, partner? [/glow]

You guys are just doing process of elimination. The answer isTrombone.
Here is a rundown.
Long yet thin. Trombone is a very long instrument and the brass is very thin.
Playing can bring sweat and tears depending on what is being played. Fast music can make you sweat and soft music can make you cry.
Everything inbetween refers to the emotions that can be exhibited through it, and it refers to the Trombone slide allowing a player to play any inbetween the note (make it sharp or flat) by moving the slide back or forth.
You better be keen was used to fit the rhyme scheme. It can also show "sharp", but I did it moreso for the rhyme.
Higher class is used to refer to that musicality is traditionally a high class skill. It also refers to being higher than bass. One higher than bass is tenor.
Their are Bass Trombones as well. That was a big clue that it can play in bass, yet is of a higher class. It also refers to the Bass Clef.
The next clue was "a sharp". This was simply another reference to music.
The last one was fine. Fine is Italian and means "end". It is very commonly used in music. It was also to show that the second set (I forget the name right of) doesn't rhyme. That was so as to not confuse low sound with a fish. I also found it very fitting to literally end this with "end".

I know it is a brass instrument but I thought thin wouldn't count for it. [shadow=blue,left,300][glow=purple,2,300]That's all my falut partner, I limited your train of thought by saying that a saxophone wouldn't account for a "thin" instrument... I'm very sorry I'm a bad Riddler and therefore a bad partner.[/glow][/shadow]

You remembered the line. Ha, I knew that would bring you back but, now that you and I have the same name I must think of another or keep this. [shadow=green,left,300]Change it to Misty Ree. ;D That would keep you as my partner. If I remember my idea correctly, Riddler treats Misty Ree as a partner, not as a henchwench... or you could keep your name cuz I just changed mine... Hahaha[/shadow]

There is a common English word that is nine letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains an English word - from nine letters right down to a single letter. What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing one letter at a time?
Partner can't answer this one because by now I know I don't have the power to stump her she's just too smart. Everyone else is welcome to try this one.
Maybe my partner is *GASP* tooooo smart... NOOO!

Joshua went on a stroll outside and then rain started pouring. He didn't have an umbrella or a raincoat or a hat to protect, yet not a single hair on his head got wet. How?
