Its been announced that our pal Chris Yost is head writer on the upcoming FF cartoon! I really don't dig FF that much, but I'm really into the art style in the following promo image. Please join me in congratulating Chris on this great gig! We wish him and the project well!

oh mann this is going to be corny anime inspired crap.
i hate japanese animation. I love american animation like the old batman series, the old spiderman series and all the old superhero shows (including X-men evolution).
the fantastic four could have been a great american show. why, why, why!!
i like the art style but if it has crappy pokemon based animation like the seizure inducing backgrounds and the little animations runnin across the screen (like the teen titans i am out)

You do know that BTAS was animated in Japan and does have some very anime inspired designs, right?

I actually like how they're making such a radical attempt to change the Fantastic Four just a shade. With Yost at the helm, I'm sure it's going to be well done. We should be seeing it on our shores around late 2006 if all works out well. It does take a little bit to get used to, the heavy anime-influence, but I really want to see how that style is applied to their specific powers.

First, congratulations. Second, the promo art does look good. Third, let's keep these super hero 'toons coming. Whether you love 'em or hate 'em I'd rather see more of them (and more to choose from) than less of them on the air waves.

Nice artwork...but you can't judge a comic by its cover...

well I am a fan of anime but I enjoy serious anime not stuff with giant teardrops on peoples faces or stuff like that(which is why I'm not a huge fan of Teen Titans). the art in the screenshot looks good though

Oh my! Excuse me! I must have been mistaken! It's not a comic but a cartoon XD Wow this really will be interesting. I'd like to see how another Fantastic Four cartoon would end up.

Teen Titans is trying to hard to be anime. It has so many anime references, (i.e. huge-butt heads for small-butt bodies, giant tear drops, etc.) I can't stand it. Which is why, I think that Teen Titans was meant for children under the age of 12 to fill their fragile little minds with crap animation and bullshit theme songs.

I like the FF, but to be honest, I'd rather see a new Spider-Man cartoon.

It aired on Saturday. And to be honest, to me it wasn't that good. As I said before, why them and not Spidey? (Thank god there's a new DTV series coming out.)

Yeah, I guess FF just can't do well in this day and age. I'm dying for that new Spider-Man series too, I hope they air it on TV as well (if it's for teens, they could put it on [adult swim], now that would be something).

I loved that one. It was a shame it was cancelled. A while ago the guy who did Spidey's voice said they might do a second season. Could the rumored series be it?

I never knew MTV could produce a good hero show. I thought it'd be all teen crap. What villains are in the show?

I never knew MTV could produce a good hero show. I thought it'd be all teen crap. What villains are in the show? They had Electro, Kingpin, Kraven, and Silver Sable. The rest were all made for the show. I think that new series may just be a new series in it's own. It kind of pissed me off that it only lasted one season. It was a kick@$$ show. Damn you MTV for getting rid of something actually good on your network! Just like Jackass and Celebrity Deathmatch. ARG!

I FINALLY got to see this today by accident. Unfortunately I wasnt very impressed. I had higher hopes. The only thing I liked was the "scope". I will likely watch it if / when I stumble upon it in the future but I wont be seeking it out.
