[shadow=green,left,300]I've been a Bat-Fan for a long time, friends, and I've been a gamer fan for even longer... and now, it gives me the grandest pleasure to announce... the series that made me the gamer I am today, I wouldn't be into video games without it... the return of a legendary game... the release of... [/shadow][shadow=red,left,300] THE LEGEND OF ZELDA:[/shadow] [shadow=blue,left,300] THE TWILIGHT PRINCESS!!![/shadow] media.revolution.ign.com/media/748/748589/vids_1.htmlmedia.revolution.ign.com/media/748/748589/vids_2.htmlmedia.revolution.ign.com/media/748/748589/vids_3.html[shadow=green,left,300]This long-awaited game was originally scheduled for release in November of 2005... which I know feels like such a long time away. In this new game, which takes place one year after the events in Ocarina of Time, which was a classic, Link can transform into a wolf when entering the Twilight Zone or something... It has the greatest graphics yet, and features return of the Gorons and the Zoras. I know that when we play it and look back on Ocarina of Time, we will be saying "eww" to the older graphics which seemed great back in '98. There are two different versions, one will be released for Nintendo Gamecube, and one will be released for the newly awaited Wii. I know we all look forward to it, the poll is just out of my curiosity. I think it will be a new villain, even though I'm dying for another Ganondorf game... Wal-Marts/Circuit Cities/Targets will be MOBBED tomorrow. [/shadow]

Same here partner, who knows who the villain will be. I love Link and this should be a pretty awesome game! From what I've seen it looks and sounds awesome.

[shadow=green,left,300]I personally would like another Ganon game... He's the demonic bull-horned swinery thing... Ya'know, GANON, the ultimate final boss... But I'm kinda pushing for a game in which Vaati comes out of the two-bit-2-D gameboy world and onto the big screen, he looked really awesome in the minish cap, but come ON Nintendo, we can make him a boss that could own Ganon if they put him into gamecube graphics... and get rid of those stupid tiny wings he had. They would've been awesome bat wings if he only had two and they were ENORMOUS, like devil wings, not four dinky little i-can-barely-hold-my-fat-self-up wings!
But it's most likely to be a new evil that Link faces...
This game will make Nintendo richer then Sony and Microsoft could ever be!!![/shadow]

I voted Ganondorf. In all honesty I have been playing Zelda games since before some of you were born on here. I did not know or think there was a difference between Ganondorf and Ganon. I know he was called Ganon until the N64 where they changed his name and redesigned him. Could someone provide an explanation for me?

[shadow=red,left,300]Ganon is the original arch-villain of the Zelda series. Occording to Ocarina of Time, Ganondorf was the Gerudo King until he came to Hyrule, betrayed the King and became the King of Evil. In his last breath after destroying his own castle he used the triforce of power to sacrifice his own body and resurrect Ganon, his (surrogate) father (Twinrova was Ganondorf's surrogate mother.) Hence his name, Ganondorf.
Now, I hate to be the barer of bad news, but I just received terrible news today... Nintendo is YET AGAIN DELAYING THE RELEASE OF THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: TWILIGHT PRINCESS!!!
HOW CAN THEY DO THIS TO US??? WHAT ARE THEY DOING WITH THIS GAME??? All I know is that we all will probably need to buy Revolutions (I hate the new name, "Wii") because, since they have delayed it for so long, they will probably not release a Gamecube version.
Original Release Date: November 15th, 2005 Latest Announced Release Date: November 15th, 2006
We must wait a whole year.....
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO![/shadow]

-_- Somehow I knew this would happen. Reminds me of the time TNT from Neopets kept delaying Darkest Faerie for over 2 years!

(Stutters) Ta-ta-ta-ta-TWO YEARS?!
If Nintendo delays Twilight Princess much longer I may go crazy... I've never really had much to do with Neopets or that new game they came out with... But I have received news from a reliable source that Twilight Princess will not be delayed beyond the year 2006... But I'm not totally up to having to wait another 6 months... OHHHH NOOO.... WAH WAH WAH

This is quite a conundrum partner... I really hope it comes out soon seeing I don't want you to feel to down about it. I'll tell you what I think if we keep our minds off of it (as much hard as it is) time might go by quicker. Some reason that works for me.

That's hard to say. Infact in an interview on the game, I believe it was um... I forgot his name, but it's not Miyamoto. He said that Ganon would return & they would do something unexpected with him. & it is planned for the Wii & the Gamecube, the Wii uses DVD sized disks if you didn't know. The Wii date is the same as launch, & as far as the gamecube version on EB.com is says Sept. 1rst although I believe it may be Sept. 15th. I would suggest preordering it for either Wii or Gamecube, because it's gonna sell fast & this is the 20th anniversary of Zelda. So something good should come with the preorder.

[shadow=green,left,300]You're right, arkhaminmate, because they did release a special Gamecube disk in which you could play the best of the best in old-school Zelda games on it, that came with a preordered Wind Waker... Right now I'm going to take my partner's advise by getting into my latest game, Metroid Prime 2! (It took me forever to finish Metroid Prime 1, that's a LOOOOOOOOOONG game...) Thanks for the advice, arkham, but I don't think that it can be preordered for the Revolution because the Revolution has not been released yet.[/shadow]
