One of the most asked questions is: Which do you like better Superman or Batman? I like Batman better, heck even Stephen King does too (as said in Batman #400). So please answer the age old question: Superman or Batman?

Age old question. Like... Elvis or the Beetles? Brady Bunch or the Partridge Family? You can like both but most tend to lean more to one... Ive always been a Batman guy but still dig Superman.

Well, yeah I know most people are going to say Batman because it's a Batman forum! But you have the right to say duh! I was just wondering because I see a lot of Superman stuff on here! And a Batman fan like me only collects and talks mostly about Batman and so I got confused and was caught thinking "Is this a Batman or Superman Forum?"

i love bats and he is one of my all around fave super heroes but i absolutely loathe Superman!! i can't stand him, he's such a boy scout and such a boring character. the only thing that can beat him is a stupid green rock, Not very original at all. The only people that like him are the ones that want to be him but in retrospect i would rather be batman.

I kinda agree with Masteroffear. Superman is so cliche. A superhuman with superpowers with a big weakness. I honestly have to praise all Superman creators of cartoons and comics as how they keep coming up with new plots and animation. He's just your average superhero. Batman is NOT. Batman has an origin that impacts his whole life and starts to fight crimes. Superman is like a cheat code. He has superpowers so he uses them to protect people. Batman has no superpowers, yet he has made it his purpose to fight evil to protect the people. Batman has better villains, better plots, better designs, and a much more honorable name, as he is only human.

[glow=red,2,300]I like both as I'm a now a huge fan of DC, marvel( no thanks I'll pass except with a bit of spidey on the side. With out Superman there wouldn't be any super hero's., Stan the man lee even said that he is indebted to Supes as he wouldn't be inspired to do heroes, plus the media he is in is great 2 70's movies that out-grossed the new x-men films now thats amazing. Superman returns is up there with Begins and S3 on my best superhero movie's. Plus the Timm show is fantastic watching them all lately really made me enjoy and appreciate the character so much so that I'm a starting fan on the character.[/glow]

I think Superman is overrated. The only Superman shows Ive ever really been into was Lois and Clark and the Christopher Reeves movies. Wish certain stigmas around Wonder Woman would life so maybe she could rise to the same level and their would be more cartoons and shows for her. Kinda wish Wonder Woman and the Starriders had of continued so maybe she would be more popular. Someone should atleast try a straight Wonder Woman cartoon. In todays tv market it could work.

Batman is my all-time favorite with Superman coming in second.

Batman. I never thought Clark was a convincing & real character, he's too much like an overgrown boyscout. He's only come outa his shell twice, becoming a real character, where as Batman has always been believable. You can sense the vengeance within him, & his pension for noctournal animals, justice, & the ability to scare the hell outa people by saying "boo!" (don't believe me, go read Denny ONiel's Two-Face story from 1970) Plus: Who else has Kryptonite boxing gloves?
