OK..while I dont have a Grundy YET,I still think this is one of the coolest exclusives Mattel has ever done. The package is great, the variant makes sense, its obvious this was made BY a fan FOR the fans. With Boy-Wonder and the rest of the Mattel gang posting here and at other forums, nows our chance to make our wants heard.SO here's my top two choices LOBO We all know the history of Lobo.He was originally sculpted and scheduled to appear in the Superman animated line until someone let Wal-Mart see a Lobo comic book. The Wally World exec was horrified and the main man has been held down ever since. If Lobo were an exclusive, however,he would obviously never see the inside of a Wal-Mart.Lobo has been in a ton of Justice League and Superman episodes and he's a fan favorite.By the way,Walmart banned Lobo but still sells Spawn toys?Spawn is all about the devil and demons and killing people-plus,SPAWN sucks. So Frag Wal-Mart.
THE QUESTION We all know The Question is one of the "forbidden characters".He cant be made due to a rights issue. We understand that. But SOMEONE,SOMEWHERE owns the rights to this character.DC Direct made a figure of him some time ago so it can be done.Just spend the money to get the rights.Grundy cost 20 bucks so charge 40 for The Question and give the extra twenty to whoever holds the rights.I and many others would pay 40 bucks for a figure of The Question.Hell,he's the friggin STAR of the whole Cadmus arc in JLU and has been in way more episodes than either Grundy or Lobo.

An interesting idea.
I think a good idea would be to have Mattel give us say, two or three options and let the fans vote on them at LoG and AFI, etc. That way, we can't complain!
I definately want a Question figure...but I would just DIE if they made a Lex w/ Brainiac coming out of his stomach!

I personally would like to see Grodd, since he'd likely be oversized and difficult to package at retail. But, Lobo is an awesome idea too.

Its pretty sad though that I (nor the rest of us) could ever really expect either to become reality. Rediculous. Lobo, for what ever asanine reason is like many other things an absolute "impossibility". IMO the only worthy exclusuve concept for JLU that is also a mandatory is GRODD! Sure there are plenty other potential and desireable ideas, but as with Grundy, nothing but Grodd is so necessary and yet so "impossible" any other way. How about a future retail exclusive sixpack with above mentioned Brainthor monster, and repainted GL, HG, WW, MM, and Flash with the Tech-Deco.!?!? cant get cheaper than that? and still be intersting lol

Heck, if they sculpted a Grodd head, they could extend Ultra-Humanites legs a bit and use his base! I wouldn't mind!

Yeah,I want a Grodd too,I just dont see why he needs to be an exclusive. As Matt said, they could rework the Ultra Humanites body, slap a new head on him,and release him to Target or TRU.He's a well-known character who had a huge role on the show, plus he's a monkey-and everyone loves monkeys.Grodd should have been mass-released at retail a looonnng time ago.

Hello I am a newbie to the LOG forum but I am a hardcore JLU, DCAU Fan. I think out of the exclusive sets being released they should bring back the idea of Episode related figures. For example in Starcrossed the movie and the episodes that became the movie, they had our heros in their secret identity clothing. Perhaps a set of just them in their "human" form would be great! Also how cool would it be to have a "John Jones" figure to tie in the last episode in which he appeared in along with his wife/partner.
Grodd and Giganta would be awesome!!!
A Metropolis villan set. Parasite, LiveWire and Metallo along with a beat up superman would be cool!!!
An Apokolips set with Darksied (new costume from Destroyer), Orion with flyer thing, Mister Miracle and Flash.
The Legion of Dooms playset...wow how cool would that be!!!
And i know they would never do this, due to the new show but an updated Supergirl with a 3 legion heros.
For now im hunting for the Vigilante figure, along with the Doomsday set and all the goodies which are to come out!!!

Youre not alone in your thinking or desires Darkfire. Many of those ideas have been mentioned by other like minded fans. Sadly I think the only potential likely candidate for exclusive or otherwise would be Grodd... and I really pray he sees plastic somehow before its too late. I would expect both Vigilante and Doomsday to start popping up by the end of September (doomy set for sure). And WELCOME TO LoG good Sir!
