[shadow=red,left,300]I recently opened up my JLU figures, but I have now run into a problem. I can hardly get any of them to stand. Any of you fellow collectors have any tips on how to get these things to stay upright?[/shadow]

Many of the standing problems have been *corrected/improved with the newer waves though. For fixing the problem, there are several potential methods but what works "best" depends on the individual figure and problem. options may include Leaving MOC lol reposition into odd, un natural and possibly unhealthy positions? Heat the offensive / uncooperative limb(s) with blow dryer or hot water and "remold" them into something that works. Buy or make a figure stand of some sort (this can also include using any Nec. implement like rubber bands or twist ties, hammer and nails Etc. Etc. Whatever works and works for you).

All my JLU are MOC for that reason!

[shadow=red,left,300]I kept my JLU figs MOC for that reason as well. But due to space reasons, I decided to rip them open. Trying to display these figures is like trying to build a house of cards..one wrong move and they all come crashing down.
Batlaw, thanks for the advice. I'm glad I'm not the only one frustrated by this. [/shadow]

For the most part I've not had any trouble getting mine to stand. There's been a couple (Booster, Elongated Man, Dove & Atom Smasher) But once I heated their legs with a hair dryer and reset them they stand fine. But I display mine on knickknack/slot shelves from Ikea. PJ Here's a pic... community.webshots.com/photo/182432865/2977880590059088917NHHxuw

I bought a pack of Tac-n-Stick (or something to that effect) from an office supplies store. It's a reuseable putty used to put up posters.
A little piece of the putty under the heels or toes (depending on which way the figure is leaning) works like a charm.

[shadow=red,left,300]That thought had crossed my mind Levere. I may just have to pick some up and give it a try. Thanks. [/shadow]

You could always glue their feet to the shelves. ;D
