The Legion was awesome in this ep. The viking prince animation was very well done. J'onn finally is going to be doing things other than in the watchtower. It was a little sad the way that he was leaving for a while. Devil Ray was really cool. WW as a diplomat was fun. I liked the real life issue of global warming being brought into the spotlight. The fact that Atlantis already withdrew because of it was sweet.
Why don't as many people give talkback to JLU as they do for The Batman? I thought that when comparing "Batgirl Begins Part II" with "Chaos at the Center of the Earth" and "Another Shore", "BB Pt. II" fell really short.

I thought it was quite good myself! Another well played action packed episode that makes me wonder how they can fit so much into such a small timeframe? This had some great moments. Particulalry for WW, GA and MM! Diana's "transformation" into WW was pure Fan-Candy! (as were GA's use of more gimicky arrows) How they worked in the Viking Prince was rather well done and imaginitive. Thrilled with J'onn's overdue return to action and the spotlight! I was glad (and shocked) they actually addressed the issue in the Ep! Though now im concerned MM will be absent entirely from the show now? But his transformation to "Jon Jones" was more fan candy.
Not w/o faults though... They seemed to be trying a bit too hard w/ the new Legion of Doom storyline / conspiracy /mystery? Then again, that may just seem that way because they did it in Earth's core 30min earlier? Who the heck is Devil Ray? Did they lose the rights to Black Manta? And im not sure who that ice girl was either but think she is an actual DC villain?
A pretty good episode all in all for everything we got to see. Better IMO than "Earth's Core". Perhaps these two Eps wouldve played better had they not been played back to back? since they displayed a lot of similarities? "Another Shore" was pretty good but wont classify it as one of the best of the season so far or the series as a whole.

I thought the final scene of "To Another Shore" (with the poetry as a backdrop to J'onn entering society) was one of the most stirring, artful and moving sequences I've ever experienced - not just in a cartoon, but in any medium. It gave me chills.

It was nice Wayneson.
Am I the only one getting a tad tired of Giganta already? Seems they favor using her. No biggie... well, she IS a "biggie" but, you know what I mean lol
"Devil Ray" was cool, but he was obviously supposed to be Manta! (even apeared to be African American under the mask) I would like to know what heppened? If I remember correctly, Manta was originally listed on the Legion's roster?
Yeah I forgot to coment on the Viking Prince animation... Very nice and classy!

If I remember correctly, Manta was originally listed on the Legion's roster? Apparently, Manta and Aquaman are both off the show - Aquaman is being used somewhere else and the writers of JLU cannot use him or his characters anymore. Funny, I don't hear anyone screaming about an Aquaman embargo....

I am not a happy camper and surprised you cant hear my screams from there Reid!? Wonder if the Aqua-embargo has to do with Arthur's upcoming Smalleville appearance? Ya know, I have absolute faith in the JLU team, but at this rate, can even they pull off a quality show revolving around just Vibe, Elongated Man, Gypsy, and S.T.R.I.P.E!? WTF

Just caught this ep and yeah I enjoyed it tremendously. Killer Frost is an actual DC villian man(had you not noticed her before Batlaw?) but you vcant help but feel that Devilray IS Black manta and this episode was written before the Aqua embargo and that Either WW or GA replaced him in the ep.anyone agree? and hell yes Im annoyed about aqua embargo-it AGAIN denies the fantastic JLU squad of using the TRUE Big Seven(again that EP was tailor made for Aquaman),personally I think we could have all used a change of GL during the shows 5 year run too

Perhaps she just wasnt memorable enough if I have? You are 100% correct. Aquaman and Black Manta were set to star in this EP. At the last minute they had to substitute WW and transform Manta into Devilray. Ultimately the Ep. was still prety good in many ways. At least on the bright side, all the sacrifice will be worth it because we'll be getting Mercy Reaf!!

although I have never seen her in a Comic Book she was in JL animated before with Grodds original Secret Society and she is in the DK DC Encyclopedia(at least Im 99% sure she is-ill look this up) and yeah I always had a feeling about this ep and its Aqua ties-actaully Fiona said when we watched it that it felt like an Aquaman ep and it would make more sense if it was AM instead of WW she will be pleased to hear she was onto something too
