it would just look absolutely stupid for us to see Superman in a movie with Bale and Nolan's Batman, why can't you see that? Bale's Batman is a real man, he cannot fly, he is not invincible, he has no superpowers. the villains he fights are not invincible, they cannot fly, they have no superpowers. how the heck can Superman turn up and work with Batman in a film based in reality? Superman would fly in and Bale's Batman would say "What the f***?! a flying dude with his underpants on the outside!" it simply wouldn't work in Nolan's universe of real mortal people. how can an invincible alien from another planet possibly work in that kind of film? if it is ever going to happen, it has to return to the more cartoony-comic-book style of Batman & Robin, where we had one villain who was half-woman, half-plant, and a big frozen dude who relies on diamonds to stay alive in sub-zero conditions. in that sort of world, a flying alien might be believable, but in Bale's Batman, no way! so in that sense, I can't imagine Bale would say yes to play Batman in a team-up movie.

lol ok Im fine with it , because not many people would ask that apart from the fans, also I guess everyone should really braise them selves for it then, as it seems most luikely to happen.

Although the JLA flick has been made a higher priority than the Superman sequel... I can't see that happening either. -The Shadow[/shadow]

I can def see a superman sequel at least most defiantly because Singer and his team are already working on it and already very committed! also I reckon a Jla film will be a possibility a strong with , wit the interviews WB gave about how there team is more up to the job on the big screen than marvels avengers

You said it! JLA is way better than the Avengers and more fit for the big screen!

Bale has now said on record that he doesn't want to be in a team-up JL movie, and would prefer that if one was going to be made with Batman in it, that they should wait till he and Nolan have completed their own Batman trilogy. 2 links: click and clickthank god he's said this, i can't think of anything worse than the new realistic Bale/Nolan Batman teaming up with Superman, as i've said many times before here. it's fine if they go ahead and make it with someone else playing Batman after the Bale trilogy, but don't include Bale's Batman in it and don't use Batman before the 3rd part of this trilogy is released.

i've heard a couple times, though, that bale said he would love to be in a movie where he gets to kick big blue's butt. and without taking these things too seriously, it could be fun and entertaining.

Batman will be in the movie but it won't be Bale, and Superman won't be played by Routh either. so in a year or two we'll have 2 different actors playing Batman, and 2 different actors playing Superman. I read this on BOF, but this is the actual article: Click
