just watched it again after many months, and a few new things have annoyed me.
what was the point of Ra's pretending to be "Ducard"? what reason did he need to hide his identity only to then reveal it later on? (a plotpoint many many people have missed, who still don't realise that Neeson was in fact Ra's all along).
when Bruce tries out the Tumbler, just before he asks "does it come in black?", he turns the wheel to his left, but the exterior shot shows the vehicle turn to its right. very bad continuity (as with the cop as I pointed out earlier). they could have flipped the external shot so it turned to its left, during editing, but if the camo pattern on it wasn't symmetrical it might have been noticable.
Falcone goes nuts the instant Crane releases the toxin, hardly even breathing any in. it's just annoying.
when Crane and Rachel are talking while standing outside Falcone's cell in Arkham, as Crane explains about psychopharmacology, he says something about external tormentors, and says "in this case, a scarecrow", but his voice sounds like he says "scare crull". they should have got him to re-record it during dubbing.
Michael Caine's hammy acting in the "It's your father's name, and it's all that's left of him" scene after the Tumbler highway chase, plus him saying "Goffam" instead of "Gotham".
in the Tumbler chase scene with Rachel in the passenger seat, Batman goes from being very calm ("you've been poisoned" and "breathe slowly"), to suddenly being very nervous/panicky, when he says "hold on!", and he doesn't even seem to open his mouth much, as if the cowl is choking him. it doesn't look like a natural transition from calm to suddenly being very panicked.
in the final train scene, as Batman sits on Ra's and throws the Batarangs to smash the window, he then throws some mini bombs over his left shoulder to blow up the carriage they're in to separate it from the rest of the train. it explodes even before he barely has his hand over his left shoulder to throw the bombs. a bad bit of timing or editing there, it's hard to even notice what he did to cause the explosion.
also, after the train crashes and Batman flies over Gordon and Gordon waves, why does Batman's cape make a rustling sound like a plastic carrier bag? it's made of cloth material so sholdn't rustle like thin plastic.
both small boys (young Bruce and Narrows Kid) can't act for toffee.
no blood on Thomas Wayne when he got shot, same with Joe Chill. and Thomas saying "don't be scared" as he lay dying was unnecessary.
these are just nitpicks of course. overall i loved the style of the movie, and am sooo looking forward to TDK, but some of these points just spoil Begins for me, it's far from perfect.
