What's your favorite Batman movie of all time and why?! Is it one of the 80's/90's films, or the 1966 film (made for the 1960 T.V. show), Subzero, Batman Begins, any movie applies! My favorite Bat-Film would have to be Batman Begins because it has: great cast, great lines, great plot, great effects, pretty much great everything!

If you're including the animated movies, then my favorite by far is Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Especially the unrated version

If not that, its a tie between Batman and Batman Begins. While Batman Begins was a great (and better quality movie), Batman just has its charms and nostalgia for me.

For me, it's a tie between Batman (1989) and Batman Begins... Although I absolutely love Mask of the Phantasm and Batman Returns.
Of course, there hasn't been a Bat-film that I've disliked... I even really like Batman & Robin. ;D

Batman (89).
It was the visual of Batman that first drew me to the character, also the darker 70's comic books. The film that the 89 team put together along with the massive bat-hype captured something magical that really affected me. Even to this day.

Alright, I suppose I'll have to choose "Batman" 89 as well. It really has an intensity and excitement that's lacking in other Bat-films. Not to mention magnificent performances from Keaton and Nicholson.

[glow=red,2,300] Begins no matter what, actually Begins is one of my favourite films ever , its just that there is no other super hero film written as well as begins, and that is why its so good, the film actually has a decent plot, (I got my mum to sit down and watch it , she thought it would be terrible and she is now looking forward to the next one so much)cant wait.plus its got the best cast ever. Of course it's the worst Batman movie ever made, but it's still very enjoyable... I just kind of accept it for what it is, I guess... ridiculous, brainless fun. ;D Although the sets and costumes are pretty impressive as well.

hmm, we;; there's only 3 Batman movies i actually respect, and i will list them in chronological order.
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (best interpretation of Batman and the animation and everything about it still holds up today.)
Batman: Dead End (The style, tone, and look was dead-on. It really showed a side of Batman never captured on film before.)
Batman Begins (it's obvious)
The other Batman movies missed the point directly. Michael Keaton talked about how the real character was Bruce, and this just proves he knew nothing about Batman, because Bruce doesn't dress up like Batman, Batman dresses up like Bruce.

no contest--it's batman begins. second place goes to mask of the phantasm. The rest aren't worth of even being mentioned in my opinion.

Michael Keaton talked about how the real character was Bruce, and this just proves he knew nothing about Batman, because Bruce doesn't dress up like Batman, Batman dresses up like Bruce. This is true for the more modern Batman, however it was the other way around in the beginning. Also, alot of both Keatons and Burtons statements are greatly misconstrued (sp?). The character, the man, is Bruce Wayne. The persona is Batman. Thats when he becomes alive. Thats what they really wanted to portray in Batman. Thats why, even in Returns, Keaton plays Bruce a bit uncomfortably. He waits to put on that suit. They nailed that perfectly in the opening scene of Returns when the signal is first shown.

Although I agree with your first statement, Batman Begins and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm are terrific Bat-Movies, I strongly disagree with your last! All Bat-Films are worth mentioning!!!!!!!!!

Although it is the worst bat-movie (in my opinion!) it is still worth mentioning! Even if it involves talking bad about it! It, after all, no matter how bad it was, it is still a piece of bat-history!

No, because think about it, Batman & Robin teaches the people who make the movies what fans dislike so they won't make another movie like it and make the same mistakes! If everyone forgot about it then who knows someone might make a Batman & Robin II.
