[shadow=green,left,300] I voted Riddler, just because I agree with you. He does look like he could play him, but not my choice but he does look like a Riddler to me. [/shadow]

Tough call, I think Azreal would be too much of a stretch and I don't think that Nolan would "water down" Batman with that. Could be as simple as a cop/detective or even a reporter.

My first thought was he is playing the Riddler. But now the more I see him and think about I think he could be Dr. Kirk Langstrom, way before he turns into Man-Bat. I know olan is going for realism but I could see this angle being played.

I actually think he would make a fine Riddler. Yet, for no particular reason, I see Firefly!?

riddler would fit in nicely with the dark knight. Does anyone really expect Joker to take up the whole movie??? maybe the begining and end but not the whole thing. We'd need another villain and im pulling for riddler.

Riddler? Was he ever even rumored to be in the Dark Knight?

This is what I read at SuperHeroHype.com, it supposedly came from the LA Daily News:
From Anthony Michael Hall... "I'm excited about it - Christian Bale back as Batman. Heath Ledger is joining the cast as the Joker. Of course, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine return, and they're great."
AND... "I'm in throughout the whole movie, and I'm really looking forward to working with Christian and Morgan and all these real Hollywood heavy hitters."
It only makes sense that he is a corporate baddie, like Earle in Batman Begins. Or maybe he is Edward Nygma or Dr. Langstrom, ala Curt Connors in Spider-Man 2 & 3, who will emerge in the third film with Two-Face.
Just some thoughts.

I thought that was old news? (not being snide, I thought I read on here that Eric Roberts was cast months ago) Anyway, I hope Hall plays a character who at least fits with this film, and not one who is randomly thrown in. I like the idea of it being Edward Nygma, but I'd rather not have him be the Riddler until the next film. Of course, something tells me that they would never, ever feature Two-Face and the Riddler together again, so I almost doubt the notion that it could be Nygma just based on that. Regardless of who it is, it has me on edge...

I think we are probably thinking too big. Do we know one hundred percent that he is going to be a villain. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that he is a new version of Lock-Up.

Eric Roberts! That is interesting. I think he could be good.

I don't think he's The Riddler. remember awhile back when all the talk was about Roman Sionis? I definately see Black Mask possibilities here. He's the only major corporate villian I can think of. Apart from Maxi Zeuss, but we'll never see him on film.

I think he's Black Mask. (Azrael coming in would be way to early.)

The Question would be cool, but its way to out there for a movie at this point. Still, fanboys alike would be geeked if it happened.

He's a villian, the story is somewhat a story from The Long Halloween, and AMH is known for playing the geek. Could he possibly be playing Alberto Falcone?

You're probably right, Nolan'll probably announce his character at ComiCon in July

People shouldn't think that he will necessarily be geeky. I think he played the big jock in Edward Scissorhands (I may be wrong on that).

i could never see him as black mask. He is just one of those villains that will never be in a movie. The riddler is an obvious choice and if he is not the riddler than he is a new character entirely.

[glow=red,2,300] Well many would say about Victor Zsasz, but he ended up in Begins(however minor the role) As much as I would love to see the Riddler(as I want to see most of the major villians) but I just cant, because the charactor will be working with Fox , who works for Wayne industries , so that would mean Nigma working at wayne industries which is way to similar to Batman Forever , which I think they would proberly avoid, sorry I think they just would plus the whole connection to Batman is a silly idea. I think we will be pleased with who the character turns out to be anyway. [/glow]

While I agree he looks the part, I doubt Nolan would add yet another villain into the mix. Scarecrow's still around, the Joker will be debuting and Harvey Dent still has his journey to the land of Two Face...

I think Gamble is still one of the villains that has yet to be cast, since we last heard news that auditions were taking place.
