Why is all the "I Believe in Harvey Dent" stuff everywhere? I don't get it, what's it all about! I know Harvey Dent's supposed to be in Batman 2 and everything and so is the Joker but I'm still confused! Is the Joke supposed to mess up Harvey's Election? Does he make him Two-Face?

The posters online are just hype to get the Fans excited about the new movie. We don't really know the specifics about the plot, but both Harvey Dent and the Joker will be in the new film. I'm sure their paths will cross somehow in the movie, only time will tell!

Yeah! They kind of did get me psyched! They got me saying "what's going to happen Blah, or Blah, or maybe Blah". But anyway thanks RJ.

The "I believe in Harvey Dent" stuff is meant to act like a campaign for an election to promote the film. The whole "Why so serious" Joker contest ended with GCPD reports being posted online. It seems they are putting a real world element ito this and making it interactive to psych us up! It's working! I got a SDCC Joker Dollar on ebay!

That's pretty cool (the Joker dollar)! But I only half agree with you. Some of their campaigning is getting me psyched up. But some they just overdo. Like the Joker smiles on anything they can get there hands on! I mean I love the Joker and he's my favorite villain and all, I even loved the Harvey Dent smile and a few after that, but then they started getting carried away!

LOL All Star! I do! I guess all the smile stuff is OKAY. Since that's what the Joker does, put a smile on people's faces.

I think you're seeing a ramping up of hype through the 2007 big convention season, and it will probably quiet down a bit before reving up again in the months before the release.
And now we know that Harvey has a BAD DAY at some point in this film. The question is how close that comes to the closing moments of the movie. Will it just be a teaser for the next installment the way the Joker card was at the end of Batman Begins? Or is it going to be more than that?

probably just a teaser, maybe the very last scene or just a few minutes before the end of the movie. they want to leave us wanting more, the same way they ended Begins. had they filmed some of The Joker's scenes in 2004 to go into the end of Begins, we wouldn't be so excited right now to see him in TDK, because we already saw some of him in Begins. they didn't show us anything of The Joker in Begins (obviously because they hadn't cast him or filmed it yet) so we are all so hyped up for TDK. we might just see a small glimpse of Two-Face in TDK so that'll leave us all excited for the next movie.

Yeah, great idea Chris! It probably will be a teaser! So it will leave us hanging and we will HAVE to see Batman 3 (as if I wouldn't see it anyway!LOL).

Chris Yeah, you know what Chris...I really think it will be a Joker card situation..I think they just showed the very last scene in the movie before the credits hit..I just have this terrible sinking feeling...cause I wanna see two face so badly, lol

i think we will see him even if only for a split second, because a CGI studio has been commisioned to work on Two-Face. it might only be the scarring just after the incident that changes him, but we will definitely see something of his face.

So they're gonna CGI Two-Face? Why? can't they just do make-up? That might not turn out so well! He may end up looking like Scooby Doo or the Hulk!

The way they get the striking look for Voldemort in the Harry Potter movies is by using CGI to remove the actors nose. You can build OUT with make-up, but you can't take anything away. They may be using CGI to remove part of Dent's cheek to get that exposed-teeth look you see in the comics. Given the realistic world created by Nolan and company for these films, I can't imagine that they'd use CGI on a character in any way that wasn't seamless and believable.

yes, maybe they feel for certain parts of his face, it'd be better achieved with CGI. i'm sure the CGI will be very limited, or used as little as possible, but they must feel it necessary for at least some of his face. i very much doubt his face will be 100% CGI for every scene we see him in, so don't fear, i'm sure it's being used as a last resort for the most tricky parts of his face.

I think a combignation of CGI & prostetics is definately the way to go with Two-Face. I haven't been satisfed with any of his incarnations in the media. Tommy Lee Jones was terrible. He was like a scytsophrenic Joker who got alittle too acid happy at Woodstock. & as great as the voice, personality, etc. was in BTAS, he didn't look like what I think of when I think of Two-Face. I really hope Nolan ges TLH style with it. with the exposed teeth, pretty much no hair, almost nothing left of his left ear. The one forseeable problem would be the area on his mouth where the scarring ends. It's either gonna be a mass of twisted grisly flesh, or crap like in Batman Forever. Knowing Nolan he's probably going to do it the right way, but there's always the possibility the design team took the easy way out. If everything goes right he'll scare the hell outa everyone just like he should. I know Nolan's definately gonna make that happen.

i still think they need to add a selina kyle/catwoman character to the fray. like i've noted before, joker, two-face, and slina are the three supporting cast members (outside of alfred and the commish) that really make up the batman mythos.

I think I would have rather had Catwoman (Selina) in this movie rather then the rumor of Riddler joining the cast, but we will see.

i think it should have been selina from the start, rather than rachel. like mary jane in the spidey flicks.

I don't think Selina was a neccesary character for the start of the mythos. Although I would've much prefered Selina over Racheal Dawes, Racheal works much better on screen, at least at this point. Whereas the character of Selina is more mysterious & could be seen by the other part of the audience as a plot hole Nolan didn't fill, & it detrated them from the film. I think that the middle of TDK, or anytime in the 3rd film would be an excellent time to introduce Selina, the storyline in BB didn't follow TLH closely (which is fine by me) so they can introduce her anytime before the plot becomes increasingly complicated & closer to the story with limited complexity as far as introduction goes. In the long run it'd be great to see Catwoman roaming Gotham's East End.

Just seems like if they want to introduce a love interest and they don't go with Selina Kyle, that one of those two would make sense

@ CrazyHatter, the rumour as i understand it is that Edward Nygma will be in TDK, but not necessarilly The Riddler. he might be one of the Batman imposters or something.

without wishing to give away too much of the plot, from what i've read (might be false info) there will be a bunch of fake Batmen running around Gotham pretending to be the real Batman, and Nygma is one of them. take this info with a pinch of salt though, it might not be true.
