You know it seems like we get the same Batman villains on screen with each batch of movies that comes out. I know it probably wouldn't happen, but other guys would be nice to see that are not entirely psychological.
Clayface Man-bat
I just don't see Hollywood giving them screen time other than animated features.

But Batman Begins featured Scarecrow and Ra's Al Ghul, who haven't appeared in live-action before. There was even a cameo by Mr. Zzazz!
Granted, we're getting Joker and Two-Face next, but their two of the biggest villains and I wouldn't expect them to be passed over.
I think we're unlikely to see the more "sci-fi" villains in this more "real world" take on Batman, but I wouldn't be shocked if there were more new faces coming in the next couple of films.

This Clayface sequel is even bigger and badder than the original

i think we were close to getting man-bat in a movie. a while ago i read somewhere that if batman and robin did good at the box office they were going to do another film featuring robin turning into nightwing and featuring scarecrow and man-bat. i don't know if this was true or not though.
as much as i would really like to see clayface in a movie, i don't think it would happen soon. maybe a cameo of basil karlo or something.

For some reason, I just can't see Manbat or Clayface in a movie. It would just be too expensive and there would just be too much involved, IMO

i could see them doing a real classic story with clayface (ie - actor obsessed with his looks - animated series)

In a word... Penguin! Do not put the Penguin in the any of these films. I have seen most every version of this character and the only version I like is that of the sixties show (that is more because of the actor than the character). So PLEASE no Cobblepot. Just because everybody knows who he is doesn't mean that he is a good character. He is just one confusing gimmick after another.
Note: I am fully aware that Penguin has been on film. I am just hopeful that this trend will end.

Chris That is very true indeed and Mr. Zzazz was a highlight of the film for me. Perhaps there could be a Dr. Langstrom working at Wayne Tech, but thats just wishful thinking really.

I think as long as the current film series keeps going in it's current direction, I doubt we are likely to see any "creature" villains like Man-Bat or Killer Croc or villains with "powers" like Clayface or Dr. Phosphorous. I think we're more likely to see villains you can do a real-world treatment of like a Calendar Man or somesuch. I know there are currently rumors about Catwoman in the third film - no idea if those have any basis in reality.

i don't know, it's possible that they will show these villains! I mean, we have no clue what the crew can come up with and will actually do! They seem to surprise a lot! But I agree that it is a very small chance that we will ever see villains such as Man-Bat and Clayface. Hey, if it avoids a Spiderman 3 tragedy, I'm okay with it!
