PJ, I was just about to post the same thing. I didn't think it was a dispute so much as an interesting conversation. I know I certainly was having fun looking it up and trying to figure out which one came first. Of course, if I'd just listened to you, I wouldn't have had to look up anything at all. =) --Larry Ohh...now I feel bad... ;D

This is one of my first posts I believe. I have loved Batman all the way back to Adam West. Would some of you guys agree that, BTAS was more realistic than The Batman now is?

You know, that's not something I've thought much about, but I'd have to agree that B:TAS was a more realistic, gritty series. I'd say that I enjoy both takes, though.
I mean, I enjoy Frank Miller's Batman, but I also love Neal Adams, or the Englehart/Rogers run, too.
"The Batman" definitely puts me in the mindset of Batman's portrayal in the 70's, one of, if not the best, portrayals of the Dark Knight to date. If this series keeps that tone, it will be a brilliant creative decision.

My main problem is that THe Batman doesn't seem to be fitting in story, just fighting. Batman is THE WORLD'S GREATES DETECTIVE AFTER ALL.!!!
loved ep one of the Batman

Batman is THE WORLD'S GREATES DETECTIVE AFTER ALL.!!! loved ep one of the Batman I see more than just fighting; I think it does have story and emotion, but the fighting is the most prominent aspect, which is okay with me. If the series keeps its current "story to fighting ratio", as I'll call it, through its run on TV, which I hope is very long, I'll be a very happy fan of the Bat.
