the episode starts out with bruce and alfred watching a Gotham Gators game on tv. Not 15 seconds in, joker has taken over every tv channel in gotham, and is broadcasting Jokertv. joker finally has some FUNNY dialogue here, i was honestly laughing. anyway, he annouces JTV's first show: Me and the Mayor. joker says before the show will air, he has to go get his co-star, Mayor Grange. (btw- still old theme song)
yin has a new partner, who's name is Cash something, and cash refers to himself in the third person, which irritates yin. cash is voiced by patrick warburton, who's great on family guy, and even good on here... to a point. after that, he's annoying.
okay, so joker kidnaps grange, and takes him to gotham bank. punch and judy are back, filming for joker. joker sprays grange with the joker gas, and then decides that the two of them need to rob the bank. (!?)
batman sees this on tv, but arrives at the bank too late. yin and cash show up, and cash, being the cocky guy he is goes after joker. joker calls cash "Shades", as cash has sunglasses on.
for joker's next show, he lures cash to him, so joker can kidnap him too. joker sprays him with the gas too, and it's all live on tv. joker takes him away.
bats and alfred do a bit of detective work, and find out joker is broadcasting from an old station. batman goes over there, and sees grange and cash tied up on the broadcasting tower.
joker reveals that he was planning to spread his gas all over the city, through these bin things he has set up on rooftops all over the city. (which somehow no one noticed). joker and batman fight in a boxing ring, which is there for no apparent reason. joker activates the gas, and it starts filling the city. batman deducts that to stop the gas, he must remove this transmitter thingie from off the top of the tower. he goes up there, and of course, a battle ensues, which, of course, batman wins.
the gas stops flowing into the citizens' lungs, and they're fine. (somehow, considering their hysterical laughter, and the amount they consumed. honestly, it boggles my mind).
at the end, mayor grange and cash are fine, after being given an antidote, and cash decides he doesn't want to work with yin anymore.
a particularily disappointing episode, considering for once that joker was actually funny, and that this episode could've been great if it was done right.
