I'd be shocked if they aired all 13 of these episodes...while I'd call it unlikely that will happen, if they *do* have all 13 of these episodes (as it sounds like they do), that could very well be the case.--Larry I wouldn't be surprised at all if they aired 13 in a row... seeing as how there are 26 scheduled for this season

The villains are Penguin and Man-Bat SPOILERS AND I MEAN THE WHOLE STORY AND EVERYTHINGPenguin was going after a machine that controlled birds and he sent four of his birds to retrieve it. Before they could get away, Batman caught them and broke the machine, but there was another one infront of a different cage and they took that instead. They took it back to Penguin, who is trying to control this huge untamable bird, but it won't work. Flash to Man-Bat's cell where he hears a high pitched sound and he transforms into Man-Bat where he gets out of the prison cell. Meanwhile, Penguin is being "mauled" by the bird he was wishing to control and finally gets it back in his cage. In the window, you see a sihilouette of Man-Bat flying towards the building. He crashes in, almost attacks The Penguin, the Penguin says get away from me and he does. Now Penguin Can Control Man-Bat and all bats. He sends Man-Bat on a robbery and Batman tries to catch him. The Penguin finds out that Langstrome is Man-Bat and Langstome freaks out but can't do anything about it. Penguin finds something he wants to steal and sends Man-Bat for it. finds out it was a trick by Batman and Man-Bat Attacks while Alfred is trying to find the frequency of Penguin's microphone thing. But then the power gets knocked out by a raccoon and stops Alfred from telling Batman the frequency. Batman continues to fight Man-Bat, while Alfred tries to find the problem. Alfred fixed the power, tells Batman the frequency, and stops Man-Bat and tells him to get The Penguin. "Next time Penguin, stick to birds" Batman joked

Now THAT sounds like a good episode! I *knew* we'd have nothing to complain about with Chris Yost writing this one! It sounds more like a Man-Bat episode than a Penguin one...with a not-so-sympathetic Langstrom being manipulated. Great stuff. Action-packed, good plot, and highly original, too. Congrats to Mr. Yost on yet another winner. --Larry

Sounds like fun, 'tis a pity I missed it again. I'm sure I suggested a Man-Bat/Penguin team-up somewhere on one of the 'fic-let' pages. I'll have to catch the re-run.
