Would you like to see Robin on The Batman or not? Why?

Not for the time being.
It works better as a solo show right now. To me, adding Robin would be a fitting series finale.

maybe, but i'd actually prefer if he stayed out of the series entirely. although, i DO carry a fair amount of hatred for the character so that's, of course, just my honest opinion :-P

NO. as was said in the panel at SDCC...Robin is doing plenty over in Teen Titans...we won't be seeing him in The Batman anytime soon....and thats the way I prefer it.

No way.
The Batman show dosen't need Robin, they're adding Batgirl and that's enough.

I gotta say "NO" and it's a tough call to make, but I like him just doing the solo stuff, I enjoy The Batman and think it works with just Bruce/Batman and Alfred and I dread the notion and idea that Batgirl is going to be entering the fray...

The show stands on its own as being the batman, alone.Robin would just bring back the horror of West/Ward or Clooney/McdDonnel.I like the Bat doing things by himself w/out some pre-teen/teen primadonna throwing a wrench into the crusade.

I said no, cuz I like Batman working solo. He don't need a little tag-a-long behind him. Man I hope Batgirl doesn't suck.

Dont Bring Robin in this series just like the 'Batman The Animated series' season 1 because i like batman working on his own then have some teenager whining standing behind him.

I say "No," but not for the reasons most people here are saying.
This show is about a younger Batman. He's going through the ropes. He's learning new things. He's slowly developing. That's one of the unique things about this show- it's a good quality that separates it from BTAS.
Put Robin in the picture and it just won't fit. Not because Robin adds a campy quality (which is entirely in the hands of the respective writer, btw), but because Robin tearns Batman into a mentor. In the comics, Bruce Wayne takes in Grayson because the boy experienced the same tragedy as he did. Bruce feels compassion. He wants to help the boy, pull him out of the darkness of mourning, and give him an outlet for his anger. It's an important aspect that I think most Batfans overlook, but basically...it won't work with this Batman. This Batman is not ready for any of that. He's too young and he himself is trying to learn about the hard part of being a vigilante. He's not ready to teach someone else about how crimefighting's like.
I have to admit, however, that it's pretty cool seeing them together in the Batcave in the "The Batman/Teen Titans" advertisement.

You've got a point there BatmAngelus. And it was a cool commercial with the Titans and Bats in the Batcave together. Seeing Batman and Robin together was pretty good too.

The only Robin I would want to see in The Batman would be Dick Grayson! But for the time being like I stated before No ROBIN right now, it's bad enough Batgirl is coming into the mix. I am not a big Batgirl fan at all!

I would have to say NO! Firstly it would be too quick! Well i know Batgirl is too quick but having them both would be too packed! Secondly I am not a HUGE fan of Robin but he adds humour in good places! Thirdly i would prefer them to develope certain characters first then add new characters to the show and Lastly I always prefered Batman vs Villain and occassionally sidekick but not two sidekicks . . . So Batman and Robin! ;D

I would have to say NO! Firstly it would be too quick! I'm not saying they should have Robin on the show right away, but at some point. I DON'T LIKE THAT BATGIRL'S ON THE SHOW! Robin should be on before Batgirl! Or perhaps no Batgirl at all.

I think if they do bring on Robin they should do the story right...let Bruce go to the circus and see the tragedy happen and take in Dick Grayson as a guest of the manor and show the toughness of Bruce trying to be father figure and Batman...i think that would add more depth to the characters instead of Grayson comming into the home and then poof he is Robin...so some of the struggles and then slowly introduce the Boy Wonder if they do it right then you can see the Romance between Dick and Barb grow the right way...then again it is a kids show so maybe im going too far with it!

Robin is too often associated with camp and can be done right, as you said, if used to add more to Batman's character and not to "lighten it up for kids." There's no denying that Robin was created to appeal to kids in the comics...but the very fact that he is STILL a character in the Batman comics definitely says something about him, esp. since he's outlasted Batwoman, Bat-Girl (the original Betty Kane one), Ace the Bat Hound, and Bat-Mite.

You know what I think? They should have an entire season leading up to Robin's debut. The season premier with Robin's parents getting killed and the season finale would be Dick's first adventure as Robin helping Batman, who's in trouble.

I know I'm new here and all but a girl has to start somewhere... I for one was pretty disappointed the moment I heard Batgirl was joining the cast so obviously I'm not going to want a Robin. A Robin for this series?... Nope. Can't see it.
Don't get me wrong, Robin was fine for the time.. but ever since the Teen Titans got started, I've grown to hate the character, even though their Robin is a bit fo a spin off from the original.
Anyway, thanks for reading.

Firstly i'd like top welcome you aboard NoirRaven,it's great to have another Female member on here and you are most welcome! Secondly i have to agree with you about adding Robin, although i doubt there's much fear of him being added i really could do without him joining this series. Not that i'm anti-Robin at all but Batman being younger, more hip[for want of a better term]and not so dark there's no need for a Robin-style character to offset him.As for Batgirl i have complete faith.Matsuda and co have been on the mark so far and i truly believe her addition will add some spice and variety to this series.I'm keen to see her in action!

A Robin for this series?... Nope. Can't see it. I agree [with NoirRaven]...I, personally, can't see/ picture Robin in the show at all, mostly because he doesn't make sense as a character...Why would someone as intelligent as Batman put a kid that young into the line of fire where he could be killed? While I can appreciate the shows [Teen Titans and The Batman] for what they are, and I can respect the fans for their love of either shows, I personally don't enjoy either of them as much as the next person. I mean no disrespect for anime fans as well, when I say that, IMO, I think that WB is utilizing the current fad of making everything stylized like eastern animation anime (I know that even B:TAS was stylized from the east, but, at the same time, it had it's own unique look and was ground-breaking...) just to earn money...It's harder to create something that's never been seen before than it is to just use the formulas from previous shows...remember: this is my OPINION, so, you don't have to like it if you don't want to, and I'll still respect you as a person for it...You're welcome...Welcome to LoG!

However, what really annoys me is when age-old characterization is altered so that it fits within the anime world. Don't get me wrong, I can deal with back stories being altered but I find it a little difficult to watch when The Penguin is jumping 50 feet in the air doing 7 back flips, kicks Batman in the chest sending him flying back 50 more feet and then spring back into action. I don't enjoy "The Batman" as much as some for that reason. That being said I love the drawings. As my avatar illustrates I think the Riddler looks fantastic. I just wish the movement of the characters wasn't anime style. Oh, and to keep this on topic - as much as a fan of Robin as I am - I don't really want to see him on The Batman though I suspect we will.

I love the art style (except for Batman's logo; I never really liked that...Or, how wide his eyes are; just proves how far the anime influence is on the show) and the dynamic way that the characters design...IMO, however, I believe that the show would've been better as a comic book, but, that's my opinion...
