to ever try to permenantly replace Bruce in the comics is a mistake. I agree 100% That's why I was never a fan of the batman Beyond concept (ROTJ Not withstanding) Why does Bruce Wayne have to get old? James Bond is always James Bond...Maybe a bad analogy, but I'm just trying to make a point

James Bond is always James Bond...Maybe a bad analogy, but I'm just trying to make a point Not a Bad analogy at all, it makes perfect sense, James Bond is James Bond, not Steven Smith or Joe Blow, would the Bond franchise have run so long if they decided to switch out for a different 00 Agent, say 009 or 005, NOPE, and that is why Batman is Bruce Wayne, and that should never change....... Ever. They have tried it a few times in the comics and it's never a good thing at all. Just like you shouldn't Fruit the Beer Man, you shouldn't put somebody else in the Mantle of the Bat!
