this series was good... but not great. i definitely expected more from dini and timm. however i loved how they pulled away from the animated series, i mean, you wouldn't have seen a shower scene on the show, right? this series was good for a few laughs, as dini always has clever dialogue. i was surprised,too, by timm's art. i like his art in the past, but it always was blah to me. i'd just as much want to see rick burchett art then timm, but this series was good, i'd say a 7.5/10

Sorry to be a total thread-bumper but I'm doing this as a public service:
I just caught up to this series and if you haven't read it go check it out asap. It's great! One of the best I've read in a long time.
I'd never seen the original "Harley and Ivy" until I picked up Vol. 2 of TAS on DVD. I watched it, then watched it with the commentary then went out and bought the comics. Great stuff. Great satire.

This series was absolutely awesome! Gorgeous art, nice characterization, hilarious satire and a ton of fun!
"Don't correct me! It...sickens me!" kills me every time. Seriously, if you haven't bought it, GO TO YOUR COMIC SHOP NOW!
