The artwork in Hush was fantastic, Lee isn't my favorite Batman artist but he really made the story and anticipation for this arc all by himself. He draws a sexy Batman , but to me the story was lackluster at best. Hopefully loose ends from it get tied up in the future.

I liked the Hush storyline, but I have one major concern. I think too many people know Batman/Bruce are one in the same.

The best thing about Hush, IMO, is, of course, the art. It's simply amazing; definitely some of the best I've ever seen...but at first with Hush, I found the story vastly lacking, the plot seemed non-existent, almost as if it was just a series of events rather then a cohesive package. But luckily, as I read on in Vol. 2, the plot seemed to really tighten up, and become very enjoyable. And though the ending was a bit "cluttered," overall Vol. 2 greatly made up for Vol. 1's failings... In the end, while I think a book like TLH has a better story, the combination of great art and a good story does make Hush one of my favorite comics.

Yup.. the old saying, good art can save a bad story but not vice versa.

Yup.. the old saying, good art can save a bad story but not vice versa. I dunno...I wasn't crazy about the art in either TLH or DKR (DKR's was down right horrible, IMO) and I still thought they were great comics...

It's the worst waste of space on my shelves - I only bothered with the first two issues before deciding to keep my money for something more deserving.

Oh. I thought it was a masterpiece. But that's just me. It's probably the inclusion of Superman that did it for me. I can't stand him. Well it was no where hear as bad as the follow up!
