I really liked the art in TLH. It fits the story and has a very unique style. Maybe it is an acquired taste. But it gives a very noirish feel and I think it suits Batman's universe the best. It's most definatley an aquired taste. I'm reading Catwoman - When in Rome at the minute and I'm not as put off by it as I was by the TLH/DV artwork.... it's obviously growing on me. Eventually it will probably become like Kelley Jones' work - I hated the pointy ears and hooked capes, but now I'm a fan! I guess if all artists made every character look the same I'd get bored. I loved Jim Lee's work in Hush, but maybe if all Batman comics looked like that it would get tedious after too long.

[shadow=red,left,300]Yeah, and the fact that Catwoman is nearly naked in almost every page helps too ;D[/shadow] [shadow=red,left,300]I've loved Kelly Jones since I first saw his art...the pointy ears and general medieval look really got me hooked. Sale's stuff..just looks goofy to me. Alot of people see it as a dark and gothic twist, but it doesnt work for me [/shadow]
