Nice to have you on board. There are a few topics you can check on suggested readings, but I think the two most widely recommended (and I agree) are Long Halloween and Dark Victory (in that order.) Basically...find anything Jeph Loeb has written and read it! (He did Hush as well!) You'll enjoy his Bat stuff and his Superman (though I still need to read Supes for all Seasons)!

If its current comics your looking for then I would highly suggest Birds of Prey, Robin and Nightwing. Although Chuck Dixon no longer scribes them they are still very entertaining with close continuity between them. Any Batfan would really enjoy them. Gotham Central as mentioned above is another fantastic read. Tec, Batman and Legends of the Dark Knight conitinue to be strong titles with the latter amoungst my very favorites. I happen to be a big fan of " year one " arcs so my liking LOTDK is not surprising. The Bat books have never been better in my humble opinion so pick them up and enjoy!

basically everything that was listed, and Prodigal was good. when Nightwing becomes Batman. also Catwoman: when in rome is out now and anything Loeb and Sale do together is fantastic. the first arc of Hitman has Batman in it and is good. but i think that b/c i'm a big Hitman fan. also older Huntress mini's and the series.
