I don't know if this would interest you Robert, but it did catch my eye - the Question has a new series (or mini series?) that started this week. Issue #1 shipped and it's in my hold pile. I'm really interested in the art work - I'll have to read the first issue before I can say if I'll continue past just #1, but I think I probably will, since I like the Question as a character. Oh yea Jeff, I will certainly pick up the first issue to see whats up. The Black Widow mini looks interesting and the Captain America and the Flacon mini has been pretty good as well. Batman War games has been kickass as of late and I cant wait to see what ramifications this has longterm.

I'm really looking forward to that book - the advance art I've seen is beautiful and, it's a real Space Ghost story! Not a Coast to Coast humor book.

Love the updates Jeff! By any chance have you read the latest issue of Detective Comics? Pete Woods penciled it and it is just amazing what this man creates. I also love the way Gabrych wrote him as he is indeed the dark Knight. I love when he strikes fear into criminals and if you do to then I suggest you pick this issue up.

Personally, I'm kind of partial to the photo covers - don't bother with the limited variants. They just aren't worth the extra $ for a cover - any of the regular 4 should satisfy most people.

Light week for me - only Question #2 on my list. I looked at a preview copy of Deadshot #1 - I wasn't impressed. If you're thinking of picking this one up, I'd recommend looking at it first before you spend your $. There are a few notable TPBs coming out though - JLA Another Nail, Midnight Nation (I can't recommend this book highly enough. It was excellent - I might pick up the trade, even though I have all the individual issues.) and the Arkham Asylum anniversary HC should be interesting. Also, I forgot to point out, New Avengers #1 hits the stands this week. If you like your Avengers to be loaded with Wolverine and Spidey, this book might be for you. Me? I'm gonna pass. Give me Cap, IM, Thor, Yellow Jacket, Wasp, Beast and Vision and I'd be a happy camper. Can't do that now though, can they?

"That issue of Gotham Knights looks like a must read" /\/\att

You called it Matt!
That last issue of Gotham Knights (#59 or 69?) was truly an exceptinal piece. A real surprize treat I wasnt expecting but every now and then I am just blown away, as I was with this issue. Im not personally aware of Robbie Morrison's history, standing, or body of work, but if this is his standard, then I may just drop one Morrison for another as my favorite comic author!
Not only was this issues art beautiful to look at, but some of the scenes/panels were just dripping w/ inventiveness and propelled the characters and story deliciously. In particular, a panel where Freeze steps on on someone in the park. I'm sorry I dont have the issue W/ me to give the artist credit as well, but both writer and artist appear to work amazingly well together or at least compliment each other incredibly!
This book had me riveted. The characterization (mostly Freeze but Bats too), the dialog (from everyone), everything was truly a great example of what I enjoy and buy comics for!
If you dont read / buy Gotham Knights, I cant pressure you enough to read this book!

Lots o' stuff this time around! Obviously the big seller will be Identity Crisis, which wraps up this week with issue 7. Also, I see Return of Shadowhawk? I'll at least take a look at it.

I'm glad someone finds them useful! I know I do - it helps me budget what I'm getting. Even with the list, there are so many titles out there, I usually pick up 2 or 3 things just to give 'em a shot.
