[shadow=green,left,300]LoG is in need of someone that can give spoilerific reviews of Bat comics weekly, bi-weekly or at least monthly! A lot of us can't or won't get all titles, and we'd still like to keep up! If you'd like to give back to the fandom by doing this, please let me know here.  [/shadow] |

I get most of the Bat-Titles (except Batgirl and Catwoman unless it's a crossover) each Wednesday. I'm able to assist.

Batman, Nightwing, Catwoman, BAtgirl, Detective, GK, LODK, Robin, BOP, Super-Bat, Teen Titans, Outsiders, and a bunch of other DC titles...Flash, etc. I typically get the titles listed if they come out the week early right now.

I'd like to help but I'm bursting just keeping up with database additions... and staying up to date with reading. Here in the UK we're a couple of weeks if not more behind the USA so much of my data could be out of date by the time I get it and read it. If you want I can archive them relating them to comics in the database. Let me know. Of course maintaining credits to the source and the author. W |

I thought MAtt was trying to organize/do something with this so I have been waiting....
Although I do think it would be cool to have more than one person (as many as want) reviewing titles, so people can get caried opinions.

sorry guys I've been swamped. I PMd a few of you, but to all that want to participate in this thread, we NEED ya! You can PM me Email me your reviews or just plain post 'em up! What I will likely do is move each review to a specific web page after its been on the forum for a bit, so someone can go back and browse all the past months spoilers. remember we want spoiler filled reviews, so don't hold back! thx guys! |

Do you want the occasional older comic review or TPB review thrown in when we get time to build up the archive?
Any chnce we can agree on a scale? Like 1-5 batarangs or something? Or even just 1-5, 1-10, etc. 1-10 gives a LOT more freedom, but leads to a lot more possibilities.
I think the scale should either be
1-Awful
2-BAd
3-Average
4-Above Average
5-Awesome
or
1-Horrible
2-
3-Bad
4-Extremelly Flawed
5-Average
6-Above Average
7-Great
8-
9-Just a FEw problems
10-Terrific
Not saying following the exact words, but that kind of thing. I like the bigger scale (10 point) personally because it gives the reader a bigger comparison. "They gave Nightwing 100 a 9.5 but the last Robin only an 8.25."
I also think for fractions we should try to only use .25, .5, and .75 to divide between numbers.
Should we post them as individual topics when we do one?

fantastic ideas! and yeah older comics and TPB reviews are always welcome...ANY review is welcome..we need them for everything eventually! BIG project lol.
I like the first scale, let me come up with something definitive and I'll post it tomorrow.

I wouldn't mind helping out with reviewing I read Batman, The Batman, Nightwing and Gotham Knights monthly. I will sometimes read other titles depending on if I like the story or not. |
