This is so unfair that she has to die and specially in this book I think some people have see that I am a huge Ivy fan and this is a shock for me. On the storyline I like that they go deeper into Ivys charakter, but that was it... I hope so much that she will rise from her grave. It can't end this way... btw: Next year would be her 40th anniversary! I am so happy that she will have such a great part in "The Batman"

Uh, you guys don't think she's gonna stay dead do you? I mean, really. Ya they'll bring her back, like Green Ghost said next year will be her 40th anniversary. Of course she isn't really dead.

Uh, you guys don't think she's gonna stay dead do you? I mean, really. No, we simply get irritated when they use the cheap ploy of killing off a character, just because they don't know what to do with them at the moment

I hope so much that she will rise from her grave. Speaking of which... she must have easiest undo of any character killed off ever. In all those eco-friendly cartoons we always learn when a tree or a flower or a whatever-plant-lifeform dies it leaves a seed and can be reborn... all Ivy needs is to be burried and for Gotham to get a decent rain storm to return.

This storyline seemed to take forever to get started. Then the ending felt rushed. Anyway, I'm sure she will make great fertilizer.

i agree she'll return, but probaly as something different from the Ivy we know. something in the serum will have changed her. i'm imagining something like what was done with Scarecrow, and how he becomes the Scaerebeast. maybe she'll return as the Plant Beast.

I wasn't pleased with this either. Heck of an abrupt ending.
I like Dr. Baghead's idea she might return from a "seed" of some kind. However, I don't want her to be turned into a monster, a la Scarecrow, and I definitly don't want to see Ivy 2.0, a la some kid she infected and is now taking the name Poison Ivy.
I know DC has a house-wide policy of shaking things up lately, but let's keep the body count to a minimum please.

WHAT? I quit reading Gotham Knights three issues in to the ABYSSMAL 'Human Nature' arc...and they KILL her? Details, people, give me details! Poison Ivy is one of the FEW DC characters who hasn't died off- why spoil that?
Why do writers feel the need to update or remove classic villains? Scarebeast...okay, but giving Two Face plastic surgery for the sake of a friggin' red herring and now the loss of Ivy means nearly half of the top tier rogues gallery are out of it for now.
(enter more frustrated, barely coherent rambling here)
Let's hope this new Crisis undoes some of this useless damage. Poison Ivy deserved better than this- not only a needless death, but one that follows out-of-character storytelling and possibly the least appealing artistic rendering of her that we've ever had. Blech.
