Intriguing.
But as an old school kind of guy, let me ask you folks: Loeb is certainly a talented writer but do you think he has problems writing endings?
I, for one, liked Hush and Long Halloween well enough but didn't like the endings to either. They both felt contrived and a little gimmicky.
Agree or disagree?

I'd agree with you about Hush, but I'm not so sure about Long Halloween.

My first post, and I wanted it to be this thread. I'll move on to a few others, just sharing random thoughts in discussions long since forgotten by most members.
I started collecting the comics in 1985. One of my first mini-series was Longshot. I've followed Art Adams career for a LOOOONG time, so seeing him on Batman would be a real treat. I'm a bit ambivalent about Jeph Loeb myself (which I'll explain the in the linked thread about Hush, TLH), but I'll be perfectly happy with Art drawing a few issues. I do have the Action Comics Annual #1 he did, plus Batman #400, both bought years (and years) ago. I'm happy to see him return.
Glad my application was accepted, and I look forward to the discussions!
