In the newest issue of Batgirl she's having flashbacks about her life and an imaginary discussion with Stephanie. At one point she remembers the details of her birth, and while Cassie can't see her mother in her memories (because Steph explains she never saw her face), she says she does recognize the voice. From the illustration it's pretty clear that Cassie's mom is Asian... anyone want to take bets on who it is? I've got my suspicions.

the next arc after the penguin contract thing is over, she goes to question her father about who her mother is. and if its not just some nobody, i'd guess its Shiva or Lynx.

One more thing! In a recent issue, there was a blonde skater kid following her around. He even ended up outside her building and was waiting for her to get home. Who do you think he is?

Well, I just wanted to see if I was the only one that was thinking along those lines. Guess not, my money is on Shiva too.
Oh, BTW, the skater kid...I've got no clue who that is.

reideen, whoever it was, Shiva or not, mentioned something just after Cassie's birth about a deal to Cain, right before he took baby Cassie away. I think we're going to see a big storyline unfold here, with quite a bit of Batgirl's past revealed.

If I'm not mistaken,Shiva was questioned in Death In The Family as to if she had kids or not and she replied NO under truth serum...of course,everything else about Death and the Family is being undone so theres no reason THIS couldnt be ignored as well  |
