Ive been recently trying to figure out if Dark Horse, Top Cow and Image exist in the same universe as DC.
I know that Marvel and DC dont exist in the same universe. And everytime they get together its because of some tear in the fabric of space or its an Elseworlds.
But i got to looking at my Batman vs Predator and that story had no dimension skipping scene or disclaimer in the front that said this isnt part of continuity. And then I thought of the Batman/Hellboy/Starman series and the JLA/Witchblade story. But then I remeber those same companies doing crossovers with Marvel. So Do the Dark Horse, Top Cow and Image universes exist in the same universe as DC just they dont talk about it or what? I tried looking on the internet but I couldnt find a clear answer.

Image has its own universe, the Imageverse, home of Shadowhawk and Spawn. Darkhorse is just a company and different properties are in different places. Star Wars is Darkhorse but not tied to any of the universes. Sin City is the same. Usagi Yojimbo is only tied to the same universe as TMNT. basically Darkhorse properties are up to their creator. whether it be George Lucas, Mike Mignola, or Robert E. Howard. same with Top Cow. which is why Witchblade/JLA can exist and Darkness/Batman and Darkness/Superman can happen without explaination. Image owns Top Cow, but Top Cow is on its own. similiar to DC and Wildstorm. two seperate universes, one owner.
