First, apologies if this has already been discussed. I must have missed it.
What's the status of Two-Face in mainstream continuity? I read all the main Bat-titles every month, and to my knowledge, the last time we saw Mr. Dent was after his corrective surgery in "Hush." Since then, the only big story with him has been the current "Jeckyl & Hyde" mini, and that's obviously set in "the past."
Is Dent's fate just another dangling Hush thread? I'm a big fan of Hush, and I enjoyed the fact that many threads were left open to explore at a later time, but it's been almost two years. Let's get a move on!
At last count, Scarecrow is a monster, Bane is "retired," Riddler is, um, different, and Ivy is, um.. different also. (Talking in spoiler code here.) With all these changes, can Two-Face really be gone, too? He's one of my favorites! (So is Ivy, and I ain't thrilled about that either.) We're losing classic villains right and left!
Any thoughts?
Casimir

it is speculated that he may be Hush, but as of hard fact, his whereabouts are currently unknown.

i doubt theyd ever take two-face off the shelf. i also dont think he is hush, and never have. his fate will probably be the same as other villains. something will happen, and he will be put into retirement until they give another villain his or her spotlight.

*(SPOILER ALERT!!!)* - - - - - - - - - - Alright...this isn't much but it's something. Batman villians secret file 2005's first story is Black mask talking to his right hand man. BM had ivory heads made of all of gothams major players. When he picks up twoface his right hand man asks who 2face is. He says it was before the guys time and was a true criminal (or along those lines) He said that tommy elliot gave him plastic surgery and harvey returned to normaility. He goes on to tell that harv betrayed hush. BM wonders if harvey will work for him for protection against hush or if he would stick to the strait and narrow. The pic shows 2face talking/gesturing to bats. He was bald and in a business suit. - - - - - Now after typing that i just started wondering about connection of harvey and hush. You notice that hush has not taken revenge against harvey or let alone mention harvey? I would think the first thing hush would do is attempt to kill harv like he tried with riddler. I mean seriously...Harv betrayed hush moreso than riddler, so what gives? Is harv hush? I have a feeling we won't know for awhile...

Whoops, should've read this page before posting my mini-rant on the 'Villain Tier' page. I'm with you 100% on this one, Casimir.
I don't want a DC Universe where the Joker seems reduced to a simple hood. I don't want a Gotham City without a Poison Ivy, or a Two Face. I don't know what DC is thinking. This kind of disrespect for classic characters is unavoidable in comics, but having it all clumped together into a couple dozen issues is absolutely ludicrous and shows an amazing lack of thought towards older fans.
We're the Bat Community, and proud of it. We like our Two Face evil, our Scarecrow human, our Poison Ivy breathing, and a new escape from the Joker at every turn. Maybe they're not as trendy as Black Mask, or as shocking as Red Hood or...I don't even know HOW to describe the GK Hush...but they're the real rogues gallery, and if the only way we can appreciate them is through TV, Movies and back issues, then that's that.

I believe Harvey is Hush, myself, since Jason is ruled out, but I'm sure he'll revert back to Two-Face eventually, or even start to switch between the two unknowingly... But this is getting ridiculous, give us a Hush sequel already, DC!!!

I agree HUSH...DC needs to give us a sequel.
IF harvey is hush and he begins to slip between Hush and Two-face then it would be cool. Kinda like Fight Club. Hey, maybe that's where harv's been recently...starting a series of fight clubs. jk

Casimir I really haven't followed the comics since Hush, would anyone mind filling me in by Instant Message on Scarecorw, Bane, and Riddler please? Would Batman villians secret file 2005 be a good purchase for someone who's been out of the loop for a while like myself? P.S. Sorry for highjacking you thread Casimir.

No apology neccessary, marndt8448. It's all tied together.
Thanks for the info, folks. I didn't realize Two-Face was a contender for Hush. Since he's been AWOL in the comics, I didn't think to include him.
Frankly, everythings getting muddy, and I suspect that's part of the plan leading up to Infinite Crisis. But that's another thread...

I know for the fact that the joker is coming back and gunning back for top spot this summer to be gothams biggest bad boy and that means big trouble for blask mask.

I've never been a month-to-month reader, myself (mostly grabbing things when story arcs are of interest to me). I'm missing a couple of pieces as to what's happened with the Riddler, and Poison Ivy as well...could someone lemme know what's up with these two? (I've read the GK 60-63, then quit in disgust). Thanks!

Hey, I thought they've tried plastic surgery to correct harv's problems back in the day but he was still a nutcase and soo returned to his ways. I thought i've read that once. Hmm... Any help here?
Also i may not know alot about psychology but doesn't it take more to cure insanity than just plastic surgery. He had Dis-Associated Personality Dissorder and that is usually caused be deep seeded trauma. I don't think he can just be cured. I know the Jeckyll and Hyde storyline of Two face is supposed to be half past and half present (i think) so maybe it will tie in somehow. And i've heard that Joker will make a comeback in war games in august. So maybe, just maybe joker will take out black mask or red hood with harv's help. Maybe harv will take over black mask's role. I just can't see joker being a crimelord over an entire city. Harv is a little more believeable to me. Hopefully DC will bring back the classic baddies.
Whoa,...somehow i got -1 karma. That's not good. I wonder how i managed that one? I guess i should play nicer with the other children here on out. But really, how did i do that? Well i guess i'll try harder for more "exalts"!
