While contacting industry celebs about their thoughts on Batman Begins, I learned that Devin Grayon, writer of Nightwing, had fallen ill...here's the situation:
Devin Grayson says that so far the worst thing about the laser eye surgeries she's currently undergoing for a recent diagnosis of Proliferate Diabetic Retinopathy is being forced to miss the opening of the new Bat movie, which she'd been looking forward to for months.
Please post here your well wishes and support for Devin..I'll email it all to her.

Nightwing is my second favorite book next to Batman and I really enjoy your work on it.
My Nightwing #90 signed by Devin is one of my favorite items of my collection.

Any updates on her? Wish I wasn't gone while this happened. Devin is a fantastic writer and kind, generous person. She helped us help a friend in a charity auction. I hope she is doing well.
