I've got a question. A few issues back in wizard magazine there was an article about count chocula getting a revamped (pun intended) comic. Does anyone know when this comic comes out? I really want to pick this up. I kinda trashed the issue.

While I don't have any info for you, I do remember the article. The comic will feature Boo Berry, Count Chocula & Frankenberry.

I've done a search for Count Choc, Frankenberry and Boo Berry comics and haven't turned anything up. Are you sure this wasn't part of their April Fool's day issue?

They had a really great drawing with it. Supposedly i believe the guy who wrote 30 days of night was going to write it. I thought the publisher was going to be IDW

I thought the publisher was going to be IDW That really makes me think it was part of their April Fools Day issue. There's no way that General Mills is going to let Count Chocula be written by a horror comic writer like Steve Niles. IDW typically puts out horror and crime drama books, such as 30 Days of Night and CSI. Just for further confirmation, I checked out Steve Niles' website and accompanying forum. The rumor has been debunked and it is an April Fools Day prank from Wizard. Sorry. |

And i fell for it! Aww...i feel like an over eager idiot. The picture was so convincing and it seemed like such a good idea. Wizard how you have betrayed me.
