Has anyone here read Dark Knight Strikes Again, sequel to Dark Knight Returns? I thought DKR was a masterpiece, but I'm not sure whether to read DKSA. On one hand, I'm curious to see what happens, but on the other, I don't want to ruin my impression of DKR, and I wanted to get some opinions on it. 1. How good or bad was it?, 2. how does it compare to DKR(if you liked DKR), and 3. Is reading it adviseable? Thanks to anyone who can give me some info!  |

There was an extensive discussion of DK2 in this thread, devoted exclusively to DK2. Hopefully that answers your questions. There was a bit more discussion in our All Star Batman & Robin thread, which - at least the DK2 part - starts on page 5. Also on page 5 of that discussion, I mentioned that Loeb might be going to Marvel and indicated that Dreamwave would be closing up shop (on page 4)! ;D That was January of 05 - quite a while before the announcement of Loeb going to Marvel last month!
