What Batman comic series is your favorite and why? It can be in continuity or non-continuity.

Right now, mine is All-Star Batman and Robin the boy wonder. It's such a great idea, IMO.

I voted All-Star solely on spec and because it's the only adult title I read regularly.
I'm in love with the idea of a stripped down, separate continuity and I'm hopeful this will work out.

I think Gotham Central is the best "Bat" title on the market.

currently its Batman and Gotham Knights, but all time i think Shadow of Bat was the best Bat series. Alan Grant wrote basically the entire series, with fantastic artists with him for every arc. in my eyes nothing has topped that yet.

I've read, and continue to read Detective Comics, but, I'd like to check out All Stars...I don't know what it's about, but I'm intrigued... All Stars is DC's version of Marvel's Ultimate line of comics. They tell modern versions of today's characters. Right now the story in ALL STAR BATMAN AND ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER is the origin of Robin(Dick Grayson).

Quick question; In your opinion, would you consider ALL STAR to be DC's genuine attempt at making a seperate-from-continuity book, or, just an answer to Marvel's Ultimate-line of comics?

Just wanted to know what your thoughts are on this...
