Mine is Scarecrow because he's the most malevolent and darkest, IMO

My favorite is the Joker. I think he's an awesome nemesis. Plus, he's a deep character. He has an unfortunate past, and because of a few bad days, his life was forever changed. Joker is the best!!!

Not Nec. in order.
Ra's Al Guhl = For all intents and purposes he could be Batman's superior. plus he has complicated motives and issues. Two Face = classy and tragic. Offers great drama. Scarecrow = great and fun imagery and capapble of crossing the line into horror and capable of expanding on and offering insight into other character's minds. Joker = classic and nostalgic and simple "fun". Catwoman = fun, tension and conflict. Bane = Greatest physical threat and capable of being intelectual equal. sort of Batman's "evil twin".

[shadow=purple,left,300]You know, every time this question gets asked, it seems like my answer changes. The Joker, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face and Ra's Al Ghul have been in my top five for a long time, and depending on what my mood is, it's usually one of them. I think I'm growing more fond of Ra's Al Ghul, actually. Like Batlaw said, he's Batman's equal. Plus, Ra's Al Ghul comes off as a villain with a natural feel. Reading his stories or watching his episodes on B:TAS gives off kind of a James Bond feel to the Batman. That's just me, though. [/shadow]

Does Jason Todd as the Red Hood count? Because if it does, he's another one of my favorites now. And Hush. The Jason Todd mysteries always intrigue me. Anymore favorite villains, anybody? P.S, Is it OK if I use some LoG pics /\/\att?

Anyone else have a favorite villain? For me it's; Ra's al Ghul: A guy who, at the end of the day, just wants to save the Earth/ humanity from itself...Although his methods are something to be desired... Joker: The ultimate adversary; if Batman can re-habilitate him, then he can do almost anything; scary, twisted, and motivated to hurt people out of sheer joy... Black Mask: who needs "super powers" when you have twin .45's and an army of devoted followers who would rather die than disobey you and face your wrath? Batman: I know that it may seem like this came from left-field, but, if you read comics like BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHTS #24 (where Bruce must prove to Batman that he isn't afraid of guns) you may understand what I'm saying...Batman really can be/ feel like a seperate entity from Bruce, and has almost total control of his life and actions...

I think the Joker has to be my all time favorite. Who else can go up against the Bat and the Man of Steel and keep coming back? But Ra's is a very close second. He always takes Batman out of his element-Gotham. Batman has to travel to all different countries just to catch up to him. Ra's never stays in Gotham for too long. He takes Batman out of his comfort zone, out of his familiar surroundings to try to keep him off balance. But the Bat always comes out on top.

Two-Face, with Hush, Joker, Todd, Riddler, and Scarecrow all high.
FYI-Catwoman...not a villian.

She could be considered a villain, it just depends on the context of the situation. If you/ they were referring to, say, Year One and the stories that closely followed, you could say that she was a villain. If you're talking about current-continuity comics, then you're right because the focus is no longer on her being a bat-villain...
It's all relative...

Just watch out for some of his toys on the market...I read in the Gotham Gazette that he poisoned a batch of them before they hit stores after he escaped from Arkham...Do you want to know how to find them? Chances are..You bought'em all ready! Just kidding...But seriously, he is on the loose...

well this may shock some of you to the core of your essence but mine is The Joker he is Batmans No1 villian hers why....... he Killed a Robin Crippled Batgirl-thus making an unintentional blow at both his intended target Gordon AND Batman he tempoaraily turned Jeramiah Arkham into a dribbling mess during the Breaking Of The Bat it was his confrontation with the Joker that tipped him over the Scarecrows gas doesnt effect the Joker-and thats just awesome for Most of No Mans Land during all the chaos Batman was worried about 1 villians whereabouts-The Joker he killed Gordons wife and lastly he is the ONE villian that Batman ultimately believes he will be kill -or be killed by him NO other Villian even comes close to having a resume like that-NOT EVEN CLOSE

Joker is always gonna be Batman's #1 opponent and the ultimate Bat-Villain, and everyone has already said why. So my top favorites are The Joker, Hush, and Red Hood(JT), followed to a lesser extent-but these guys are also way up there-Two-Face and Ra's al Ghul. I wonder how the Red Hood and Hush see each other; as rivals, or a "we're after the same thing, but let's stay out of each other's way" kinda thing. Probably a mixture of those things.
