I'd have to go with Tim Drake, who actually discovered the identity of Batman, rather than have it revealed to him...That, and he's been through a lot recently (death of his father and girlfriend), and, while he's taken up crime fighting in a new city, he still fights on...
Oh, and I totally agree with you... ;D PANTS ARE GREAT ;D

Old-school vote for Grayson, though my fave outfit is actually Drake from TNBA. Dig the black and red.

Dick Grayson is one of my all time favorite characters, whether he is a young Robin or an older Nightwing. That being said, I prefer Tim as Robin. I don't care the same way about Tim as a character, outside of his secret ID, as I do 'bout Dick. But as a robin Tim is just cooler. I think I'm confusing myself.

I guess it's safe to say that Jason and Steph weren't everyone's favorite Robins. One thing about Jason is that the fans sentenced him to death(for a while). And Steph? Let's just keep it Boy Wonder, ok?

Yeah, Joker was the right man for the job. Some(and Im one of them) would say the only man Batfan.I also thought having Black Mask bump off Steph was a good way to elevate him-I look at him far more differently now

Jason Todd will always be my all time favorite Robin for many reasons. He was a street punk, and had street smarts, I just don't get why he was killed off, I really don't, no use crying over spilled milk but when he was a carbon copy of Dick Grayson he was cool, but once he got the new origin of a street punk ripping off Batman's tires, everybody hated him. I think DC made a huge mistake with the call in vote that had Jason offed, he had plenty of story to tell and it was just getting really good...
Jason had an edge to him that was really cool and that fighting spirit
Jason could kick Tim Drake's butt!

In essence this conversation only proves that for all seasons there are different Robin favorites... for me I choose Richard Grayson, the original the one that had skill. While Jason Todd had his anger to push him, and Tim had his smarts to deduce that Wayne was Batman, Grayson is the only who could ever trully live up to the Batmans expectations, and while Richard isn't the best of detectives, it is a minor formality. Oh and this would be my first official post on this site... awesomeness.

Pretty much my sentiments exactly regarding Robins (although I disagree with questioning Dick's detective skills lol)
Regardless, Let me be the first to hero you!

Tim gets my vote too!I like Dick better as Nightwing. [shadow=purple,left,300]I agree. Tim has always struck me as the ideal Robin for some reason. Dick is better suited for Nightwing; Jason Todd was better left dead; and Stephanie Brown was never truly a Robin in my book. It's a good thing she saw the fate she got.
Knowing DC, though, we'll see another Robin pop up eventually... [/shadow]

Its to keep Batman always hip in my opinion, we always see a young star pupil replace the older Robins. Its to keep Batman rooted to the now instead of draw him back to the old school. In other words, my honest opinion is is that the reason there are so many Robin's is to keep Batman fresh... with todays crowds.
