Does anybody here also read Eduardo Risso and Brian Azzerello's 100 Bullets Vertigo series?...
If you've never heard of it, it's about a mysterious man named Agent Graves who approaches you, a person with a serious desire for vengeance against a person/ persons, with one gun and 100 untraceable bullets...However, almost all of the people who except the gun and Mr. Grave's invitation usually meet an unfortunate end, much to the dismay of the would-be killers of course...It's a crime story, a detective story, a mystery, a paranoid-espionage thriller, and a look into the world of secret cults...This book has it all!
You can check out the series here at www.dccomics.com/features/100bullets/100bullets.htmlAny thoughts? Comments on the series?

Personally, Azz's writing is a bit slow for me. The stories tend to be drawn out more than I like. 100 Bullets as a concept is very cool, but the writing fails to get me to buy it.

I agree with you; for the most part, Azz's writing can seem methodical, but, I think that certain issues more than make up for that/ it...I loved the concept of Agent Graves; every time I read his dialog, I think "if an actor did a voice-over, it would have to be Micheal Ironside"...I also love how, (much in the same respect as an episode of the original Twilight Zone) the gun and 100 bullets usually end in tragedy for the users; it's like a black omen that can ruin the lives of any and all who come into contact with it...
