Comics on Cellphones story

In a nutshell, there are a couple of companies that are offering comics (manga) via cellphone. The cost for this service? Approx $2.90 for 5 comics.

I would LOVE to see something like this here in the US. It could really jump start the comic industry and breathe new life into the dying format.

I just wish comic companies would put comics online to purchase. Personally, Id much rather subcribe for comics online rather than buy the books and try to find a place for them. My entire collection is nothing but Graphic Novels and TPBs for a couple reasons. 1- I like reading complete stories over just small parts once a month. 2- (The one that relates to this topic) I dont have the room for a bunch of loose comic books. Id much rather have the books stored on my computer, I have lots of room for it. I know Im the minority when it comes to this since most comic readers like to collect the first printings and what not. All Im interested in is the story, whats going on with Batman and the rest of the DCU.
