Hey all. If you've read Villains United #1 (and if you haven't, then you should!!) you're like me and may be wondering who Mockingbird is this go around.
Here's my theory.
* * * * I think its Oracle. She's currently posessed by Braniac technology, which would put her in a state to allow the death of the Fiddler. Think about the image on the screen...looks a lot like her oracle symbol.....
...........thoughts?!

Journey back to a simpler time with me for a moment: In the first 2 Secret Six series Mockingbird was always one of the agents, pulling the other's strings. Just something to think about.

I agree that it may be one of the Six,but I don't think Deadshot wolud fit the Mockingbird profile.

I had no idea Mockingbird was an old character.
My original guess, with no evidence to back it, was HUSH. Just because of the old "Hush Little Baby dont say a word, Momma's gonna buy you a Mockingbird" lullaby. I know it would be stupid if it were that easy. Now Im thinking Lex might be playing both sides.

I had no idea Mockingbird was an old character. Actually Mockingbird is more of a "code name" for the individual who gives orders to the Secret Six. Concept's pretty similar though.

it could be Ragdoll, remember one of his gifts is his way with words and how to manipulate quite well. remember the Rag Doll Cult he formed after Underworld Unleashed. just a theory. and Brainiac possessed Oracle fits real well. good thinking Matt.

Here's a good one from CBR: Calculator which was shot down by the simple fact that how wolud it benfit Noah to lead the Six into a trap.

I'm really undecided about this.
I tend to think they are going to follow the original two series and have Mockingbird be one of the six.
Actually, in the second Secret Six series Mockingbird wasn't one of the Six.
A couple of possibilities.
Oracle is a definite one if they don't want Mockingbird to be one of the six. Catman's a definite possibility because he's the longshot. And I think they would go with a longshot. Hush? Maybe, but it's a little obvious. Deadshot? No, I don't see him as Mockingbird. I would go with Hush or Catman if Mockingbird is one of the six.
If he's not, then Oracle, Luthor, or Calculator. I can see Lex or Calculator playing both sides.

i was thinking it could also be Black Mask, as he may not be too thrilled with the Society setting up their base in Gotham.

I just read about this series, I didn't know anything about it. A friend of mine who owns a comic shop is going to try and get me the first three issues. What exactly is this about?
