Just like OMAC, this one's sold out already also - and it's not due until May 4th. Notice a pattern here? ;D Omac and VU were both over printed by 50% - and they've both sold out and gone back to a 2nd print - something that DC usually doesn't do unless they think they can sell at least another 20,000 copies of a particular book. For those that listened to me months ago and put this on your hold list, good for you! For those that didn't.....don't say I didn't tell you so! ;D BTW, here's the cover for the 2nd print - it features the The Secret Six by interior artist Dale Eaglesham. If you miss it on May 4th, the 2nd print is scheduled to ship May 18th, so you won't have too long to wait.

See, now I don't even HAVE a hold list. LOL! Neither do I - my buying is too erratic to have a regular list of what I want every month. I get there early - usually around 11:00 - so that I get darn near first dibs after they open the cases. Usually I can sneak a variant cover in for regular price too if I try.

I'm working on who's who on the cover for the 2nd print. So far, I've got Catman, Cheshire and Deadshot. Can anyone help out with the other 3?

I went ahead and started a pull list with Krypton today...just added the four mini-series and Allstar Batman & Robin for right now.. Thats all I know that I'll purchase without question.

I read the preview copy today. I'm definately getting this next week!
The two characters I didn't figure out yet are an intelligent Parademon and Ragdoll. Also, somebody that's initially with the group (highlight to read - Fiddler) bites the dust thanks to Deadshot.
Catman's powers have really been amped up btw. I'm looking forward to this one more and more!!

Once again it's late...BUT i found out why the crisis' have been delayed at my comic shop. The shop owner was pissed, called the diamond warehouse that ships it to him and they investigated. Ten minutes later they found that a few of their employees have made some five finger discounts with the issues so the store has been shorted 60 issues he's ordered. They've straitened it out and they should now stay on time. So i'll get this one this weekend.

I actually dig the sketch cover more...colored and inked, this piece lost something, IMO...

Who's Cheshire? I'm not familiar with her...whats her deal? Cheshire is one of the Ravens, the merc team from Titans and Birds of Prey and have also appeared in quite a few of the bat books. she also has a daughter with Arsenal.

Alright, i wasn't sure so i was just waiting for her to die and be replaced. Hopefully we'll see her dressed to kill later this series. I'm really enjoying it thus far. Catman and Deadshot are priceless.

I think out of all the series with Infinate Crisis I think that Villians United is the sleeper out of them and is by far my favorite series

OMAC is so deep in betrayal and Rann/Thanagar is real good when i can remember who is on whose side. BUT it's villian united i look forward to most. The story, the action...it's just great. I always enjoy seeing the villains side of things.

It's always great fun and very interesting to see the point of view from the villians, and I think that is a big part of why I am enjoying this series so much. All that torture they just went through was painful to read, and I think Catman and Deadshot should get there own series when this is all said and done or be allowed to come to the front of the pack as major villians in the DC Universe, especially in Batman's world!

Catman and Deadshot deserve to be major villians after this. I have been a fan of Deadshot since suicide squad a few years back. And catman has just come across as a total bad@$$. I think these two could wreck serious damage to the supers.

He was awesome in the Squad, I just hope that if they do take these two guys and give them a series they don't make them have a change of heart and become more of a good guy on the line of being bad, they need to keep them B@D@$$! ! !

Catman really has to come back to the bat books. i've always enjoyed reading the stories involving him. his re-done origin in the LOTDK arc "heat" was fantastic. and all the old Shadow of the Bat stuff from Alan Grant that had him in it were always great. and what i really want to see is a new Suicide Squad series. bring back Rick Flagg and have him lead the team again. have someone good writing the series, nice art and you have an instant gem.

Thank You! What ever happened to The Bronze Tiger? He would be somebody to see pop up in this series as well and come to the front.

I don't know too much about Bronze Tiger so i used wikipedia. After that i looked at a couple of my old suicide squad issues. He would seem like a character that should be here somewhere, i think he should be due for a comeback. I miss suicide squad, one of my fondest memories of comic books was with Deadshot wishing a guy happy birthday with his gun pointed at his head and telling him to make a wish. Anyways to answer your question Techno Bat, here's what happened to Bronze Tiger courtesy of Wikipedia...
"He became the backbone of the Squad until the deaths of several friends and teammates, whereupon he suffered a mental breakdown and became a violent berserker."

Bronze Tiger hasn't been seen since the Circle of Six beat him into a coma in the newer Richard Dragon series. he's awake and alive but hasn't been seen since then. he's no longer a villain and hasn't been for awhile now, so i doubt we'll see him in this series. what i would like to see is he and Batman meet up again now that he's a hero and see what happens then. after all, he did kill Kathy Kane.

Thanks for the info on the Broze Tiger Arkham 16 & JLavaia. Very helpful, and that stinks that he was beaten up that way. I too hope he makes a come back and he and Bats meet up down the road.
Arkham I think it would be awesome to see The Squad back together...I wasn't a serious collector of the book back in the day but I did pick up and issue here and there and loved every one!
