Dark Detective #5

I'm going to follow this on through, despite the disappointment that's been expressed so far. #5 was probably the best issue so far - all of the characters seem to be headed for a collision in the final issue. The last pages end with sinister implications of the Joker torturing Silver; since his plot to win the election seems to have blown up in his face, he seems to have nothing better to do. This sort of arbitrary evil gets closer to the Joker we expected from this series, so I think it will be worth the effort to read through to the conclusion of the series.

Yeah, I picked it up despite my grave disappointment in Issue 4. You're right: It was pretty decent -- though still well below the standard of the original run.
