So far this mini-series is simply OUTSTANDING!
Any fan of Superman or Capt. Marvel... or anyone that would enjoy a top to bottom well written superhero story should seriously consider picking this up!
As of issue #2, it gets 5.5 out of 5 stars from me!

I was interested in this one, but due to limited funds, I decided that I just couldn't pick it up. I'm waiting for the TPB. Glad to hear it's worth it!!  |

I havnt given Judd Winick a fair chance apparently... I really considered his work to date (that I'm familiar with at least) to be "adequate" at best, but this book is just simply so well written I cant deny it. Just tight, smooth, enjoyable, believeable and fun. And the art looks and works beautifully too!~ (exempt maybe for how Luthor looks? not strong or "intimidating" enough?)
A lot of times mini-series will tend to fall apart towards the end, but I have high hopes and a good feeling about this one. So far I would say this one is award worthy (for my money at least).
