I got UNDER THE HOOD this weekend, and at the back of the book there was a spot for other Batman TPBs and one of them was called BATMAN CHRONICLES Vol. 1. If anyone has this, what do you think of it?

Batman Chronicles vol. 1 contains stories from Detective Comics #27-38, and Batman #1(1939-1940). They are the very first Batman stories EVER. For this price, and given that the content is the ultimate way to see Batman's earliest history and development, this book is fantastic, IMO. For those interested in Batman's earliest adventures, I highly recommend this book.  |

So it's kind of like Marvel's Essential line, except it's in color and only 10 or more issues.
Will there be other volumes to come, continuing the history of Batman?

I would assume this series, the "chronicles," will keep going, and Superman Chronicles vol. 1 comes out in January also, which I will get, too. |

Thank you HUSH. I'll have to look for this. I just pray they don't reprint all the crap stories like Batman becoming Batbaby, Batman and Robin going into space, etc. Those stories just aren't really Batman.
