yes I know there have been favorite writer threads before but on this one I'm asking who do you think does the actual character Batman the best, not the overall story. who do you think really gets into the mind of Bruce/Batman? who shows all the aspects of Batman(as in stratagist, master martial artist etc.)?
for me I think its Jeph Loeb. I dont always think the overall story is super amazing(though I do think there good) I do think he does Batman great. but what do ya'll think?

Grant Morrison does the Joker well, but over all it's Loeb, he's written the best Bat stories.

Strange. I swear I already posted here but it's not here now.
Anyway, I pick Frank Miller for his Year One and DKR takes. I don't, however, like his later batwork.
Personally, I'm not a big Loeb guy. I find his work derivative and he doesn't do a great job closing out his stories. That's just my opinion, though.

When it comes to character, it's a tie between Miller and Loeb. Like I said in another thread, these guys' stories really helped influence Batman Begins.
