I was sad to hear that this title was ending soon, as I've always enjoyed the "out-of-continuity" stories that ran in "Knights" and "LOTDK;" true to form, this issue was a wonderful, reflective tale that centered around Bruce's memories of his parents, especially those of his father. Batman makes only a cameo appearance, and probably could have been totally left out of the story, as these events related to Bruce's life before his life as Batman. I strongly recommend this issue to anyone that is interested in stories that deal with Bruce's emotional and psychological makeup.
