Could you ID some artwork for me, please?

Hey everyone.

I was watching some of the extra features on the Batman Returns and saw a pretty cool image. It looks like the cover to a Batman comic book. Since it would take a really long time to find all the Batman comic books and find out which one this is from, I was hoping perhaps that someone here could tell me what the image is from & heck - if there is any sort of poster of it.

Hiya ckrtech! I do belive that particular image is the cover to Detective Comics #457 drawn by Dick Giordano in 1976. It sure is a classic and popular piece.. a personal fave of mine as well!
To my knowledge (limited as it surely is) I do not believe that image has been reproduced in any larger format such as a poster or litho Etc.?

your best bet at finding it on a larger scale is a Batman calendar from past years or possibly in the future. if there are multiple 2006 comic based batman calendars then possibly even this year. the one i have with the Neal Adams cover does not have that image in it though, but other calendars might.
