What's the deal with the future of Batgirl? I see her title is not in the current solicits. I know she just "died" in last month's issue, but there's at least one more issue left. (And a nearby Lazarus Pit...)
Also, I keep reading that as a result of "One Year Later" we'll have a "Batwoman" running around. Eh?
Anybody know the soure of these rumors? I can't find any reliable info.

I'm very curious too. I think that pit got destroyed, didn't it?
I'm sure there'll be huge changes after IC. I can't wait!

I don't read Batgirl comics at all, but this thread has me curious, is the current Batgirl dead (cassie cain)?

So Cassie died, and there's another Lazarus Pit near by. To answer the question about the Batwoman, if you checked out the previews for the DC SUPERHEROES with the Cassie Batgirl, it said Batwoman. So I think that after she goes into the Lazuras Pit, she'll become Batwoman.

Very possible that Cass will be Batwoman. However, that Lee's toy mag you referred to also had a host of spelling and weird errors (Cassandra Kane?) and it seems a bit like a rushed review to me with some spotty fact checking. Basically, just wait a few more days and read Batgirl 73  . And a few more after that to see about the new Batwoman. |

one of the editors does confirm that batgirl will become batwomen
which I think is a shame

And all the while, I thought Renee Montoya would become the Batwoman. Regardless, in which comic will Batwoman appear in? This has me interested!
