Do any of you have subsciptions to DC? I never had one until someone subscribed me to Catwoman for my last birthday. I thought it'd be cool, but let me tell you IT SUCKS.
I have recently started to get into going to the comic shop every month, so the fact that DC doesn't deliver subscriptions until about 2 weeks after the book is available in stores came as an unpleasant surprise.
Not to mention that issues 50 and 51 sold out while I was waiting to see if my subscription would start - which it didn't for like 4 months.
I bought #52 a couple weeks after it came out. Then, literally the day before 53 came out I got my first delivery: a copy of #52.
And now they tell me they have #55 scheduled to be shipped in early July, even though it came out in stores 3 weeks ago as scheduled.
My point is, if you don't have a DC subscription now is NOT the time to start.
