Found these pics of Corgi's new Batmobile die cast line. Nice to see that 2 of the cars come with little Batman figs. Nice tip of the hat to the 60s original.

That's excellent,i was kind of disappointed that they didn't have any figs with them on the initial release pics.Being a big fan of the original Corgis i always loved having figs with the vehicles. A Robin would have been nice too but i'm more than happy. Thanks for posting those pics Blocko.

You're most welcome. My question is do the figs come out like in the 60s Corgi version?

The Corgi line of Batmobiles is going to be awesome, I can't wait for them to start coming out.

Yeah I can't wait for these to start showing up. As the Hot Wheels & JL Batmobiles are nice but nothing beats the original Corgi Batmobile. PJ

You're most welcome. My question is do the figs come out like in the 60s Corgi version? The way they have worded"Batman figure sits inside"lead me to believe they are removable. But it won't be long before we find out anyway.

I hope they're removable because I plan on building a scale Batcave to display them in.

An idea I have had for a while. With a little reworking, the Heroclix Batman and Robin may make suitable replacements.

An idea I have had for a while. With a little reworking, the Heroclix Batman and Robin may make suitable replacements. Nice idea but the Heroclix are about a 1:72 scale while the Corgis are 1:43 scale. It's a great idea but the Heroclix will just be a bit too small. Actually, now that i think about it.There was a guy in Italy who made really nice Resin custom figs of Batman & Robin to fit 1:43 scale Bat vehicles.I actually bought some ages ago for a 267 Batmobile i'm planning to restore. He has a website but i can't remember it at the moment. I will look it up and post a link to it,i do remember they were cheap as chips when i bought them. And they look really authentic too. Stay posted.

Actually faithbutler, they seem to be closer to 1/43 than 1/72. If they were 1/72 they would be about 1 inch tall (1/72 x 72 inches = 1 inch). My Heroclix figures are closer to 1.5 inches tall. They fit into my old 60s Corgi Batmobile from the TV show.

Yeah Toy Tinker is great for reproductions of all the Corgi stuff. If you want figs that are a bit more posed though with flowing capes go to: magneticmodel.com/Don't hurry though, their site is currently down for re-construction.Keep an eye out though, you won't be disappointed.

Fair enough then,i was looking at my Heroclix in comparison and i thought they just looked a bit out of scale for my liking. It's all personal taste though.

I have a spare original Batman and Robin from a Corgi. I was going to restore it but changed my plan once I picked up a nice one on ebay.
I know I'm new here but I think Roback would vouch for me.
