DC is putting out a new line of comics Tiny Titans, Super Friends, and Shazam. I was wondering if anybody has heard about them and if so what are your thoughts?
I will check all three out. I think that they are more geared towards children though, but they say for both adults and children, we shall see.
I am excited for Shazam because he is a character I have always liked and never really knew too much about and this is a great starting point to jump on board and get to know more about him. Especially with a Shazam movie in the works.

I am... but I wont likely be reading much of them. Ill get a couple for myself and might get a stockpile for my son to have as he grows. Im most thrilled for Capt. Marvel.

the kid only titles dont truly interest me, and especially these 3 titles, as they are DC's attempt to capitalize on the success Marvel has had with the Franklin Richards comics. i expect they'll be cancelled shortly after they begin.

OH MY GOD! That's the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. I can barely deal with the 10 year old kids that wonder into the comic book store aimlessly & clearly don't know anything, let alone 5 year old kids who scream Batman Batman Batman, at the top of their lungs until their parents buy them a comic book. I'm definately not excited.

I just hate and dont see the logic in cancelling the JLU comic. Especially not for these (allthough I have no problem with these and am happy to see the Capt. Marvel). I'm definately not excited. Gotta say I strongly disagree with you. Annoyance or not, I see it as a good thing ANY kids are "wandering into a comic store". Aimlessly or not. Take advantage to steer and direct them and encourage their interest! As for the five year olds... were WE any diferent at 5! And how is it not a good thing? I say (annoying or not), thats much better IMO than having them not know who batman is, or worse, screeming for the next carbon coppied mind numbing episode or issue of Yugioh mugumboishiwhateverthehell. Just my two cents. There are not nearly enough young comic book fans nowadays. And young fans become old fans. Comics are and should be for everyone young and old.

Certainly not jazzed about it, but as long as it furthers the cause...
