[shadow=green,left,300] They all have their own parts to me, it is hard for me to choose. But I will say Tim Drake, thinking it over. [/shadow]

Gotta say Tim. He's made the character his own.

Who is my fave Robin?... Dick. Who is the "best" Robin?... Tim. Who is "tougher / stronger"?... Dick. Who is "smarter"?... Tim.

definitely Dick Grayson. he made Robin more than just a sidekick.

I have noticed that no one has voted for todd so far, what are your reasons for not likeing him? Personaly I think he was a jerk and I don't think Dick or Tim or Steph would ever try to kill Bruce (or anyone else).

"a death in the family" was great, but that featured him dying. he had about 5 issues with the titans. he really wasnt Robin long enough to be considered the best robin. same with Stephanie. she was Robin for exactly 5 issues. she did nothing of merit except help Batman take down Zsasz (in his worst appearance to date, at least he was made into a true villain and worthwhile opponent again months later). in all reality, this is really a poll between Dick Grayson and Tim Drake.

I've only read a few stories with Jason Todd as Robin and in both of them he was determined to find out who his mother is. I got tired of reading the line "Are you my mother?" I agree that I like him with the Challengers in Countdown and look forward to what they do with him next.
In the end, I really enjoy Tim Drake as Robin and Dick Grayson as Nightwing.

Tim Drake is the most down-to-earth Robin - he's had a lot of history to study about what to do and what not to do.

I really found Jason Todd annoying in his death story Batman tells us how he had to sideline him for his abnoxiousness

Why has no one picked Stephanie?

Why has no one picked Stephanie? she was only Robin for one story arc. she did nothing significant as Robin except help Batman take down Mr. Zsasz in his worst written appearance. she wont garner any votes in this poll. maybe if you took away Tim and Dick and said who was the better Robin, she might get a few votes from those who realy disliked Jason.

I am not trying to get people to vote for a sertant character, that would ruin the point of a poll.

I really enjoyed Jason Todd as Robin. He had a decent run before they revamped his orgin (for the best) and he had a small run after Crisis.
Revamping his origin was pretty cool, I like how they made him a street wise punk, and not a carbon copy ripoff of Dick Grayson, but for some reason alot of people didn't like that, they only enjoyed Todd as a grayson clone.
There was a ton of potential with Jason Todd as Robin, alot of great stories could have been written with his attitude and swager, but it was never to be because of his death.
I think he was the toughest out of the group of Robin's. He lived on the street, dealt with the criminal element before he became Robin, he knew how to survive. He had an edge (a street edge) that was a great asset

What about Carrie Kelley as Robin in TDKR and TDKSA?

^TDKR and TDKSA are an Elseworlds story and not mainstream continuity. My money is Tim Drake. He is a sharp mind and a natural athlete. Bruce even commented that Tim's skills may surpass even his own.

I guess we'll have to make a new poll since Damian's now Robin.

Dont like Robin, never have but I must admit that the character is neccesary in the comic books to keep Batman grounded.
When Jason Todd got blown up I was happy.

I guess we'll have to make a new poll since Damian's now Robin. i doubt the results would change much. Damian's only been Robin for a very brief amount of time. maybe in a few months a new poll would work and Damian being Robin for awhile may sway some people to change their vote to him, but i really doubt it. it'll always come down to Dick and Tim as the 2 top Robins.

Stephanie wasn't given a fair chance, she was just a sacrificial lamb. If she'd had the same time to prove herself as the others did I have no doubt she'd have been fantastic as Robin
